Also I realized that I've derped in ports for the last few weeks. I have the biologist, convict, and missionary unlocked and didn't have my icons configured to up my odds of getting their trio missions. Fixed that now so I can start working towards that beautiful 50 plate/lacquer mission... Th e Doctor Posted June 15, 2013 Author Share Posted June 15, 2013 Knocked off a large chunk of fishing exp and now have 3/4 for the fishermans outfit. 152 k exp until lvl 87. I may or may not get it tonight. I also did some KBD hunting with quickhopping, void and drygores. Results aren't conclusive yet because of a couple worlds that I hopped to and the kill was over half done so I couldn't crash but I managed to get 10 kills in ~7 minutes for 16 crimsons. I could realistically see this being closer to 10 kills in 5 minutes. I lack complete torva boots, kiln cape, warrior (i) and a sara whisper at the moment so there's that. But at 120 kph you're looking at 360 crimson charms per hour, 270 k melee exp/hr (+90 k hp exp/hr) and 890 k gp/hr guaranteed from just the bones and hides. Oh, and it would be over 130 k slayer exp/hr on task With soul split/turmoil and vampyrism you need no food. I went through 2 doses of prayer potion per dose of overload/antifire. Definitely going to remake my guide. Even if it pans out to be closer to 300 crimsons/hr it still is going to be the most profitable way of getting those charms (at least that I'm aware of). Did they nerf their defense? Last time I went I didn't get anywhere near that number with bloodfire barrage. KBD also doesn't have the quest requirement and can be used as a slayer task for pretty decent slayer exp/hr. EDIT Just tried them again and I have no idea how you would get 150 of each charm in an hour. I must be doing something wrong. I ended up with 9 of each after 8 minutes... Gear was full subjugation, arc stream, mage cape, staff of light and bloodfire blitz. Runecrafting will be a little more bearable now that I have my emmisaries banner so that I can boost to blood skulls for 30 minutes every day. And I sent out trio number 2 at 80% so fingers crossed that it comes back before reset tonight and succeeds so that I can have a chance at my 50 plate/lacquer mission. I'm considering myself lucky to have 2 already though compared to some peoples luck that I've seen. I rolled a stupid 900 steel joint mission for special voyages and sent out 4 more steel missions after having purchased my heavy cannon x4 upgrade. Only the two helm slots and dragonskin rigging left to go for ports upgrades and then I can focus on buildings and trade goods. I also rolled the leader trait for regular voyages which I will send out tomorrow making my 10 k moral captain multitalented/eager/leader/leader which I'm pretty content with. Now to roll a decent combat 10 k...
