Your pin number doesn't make you more prone to being hacked, it only protects your items if you are dumb enough to get hacked in the first place. How do you think people got along before banks had pins?

I disagree. I am one of many people who have been hacked without ever having downloaded files they were unfamiliar with, making an easy password or recovery questions, or telling anyone their account information.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sounds unrealistic to you? It did to me, too, but reality hits pretty hard when you lose 50 million worth of stuff. Thankfully, that's what made me decide to quit members and stop training on runescape and just log in every other week or so to pk.

Jagex created the bank pin as an optional thing. If you don't want one, don't use it, simple as that.

I dont have a bank pin lol. I dont really think it's necessary, as long as you have a good password and watch out for keyloggers.

back when they came out i was too lazy to put one in. i thought they were annoying so i just never put one in. sadly i paid the price yesterday. :x got hacked and i would have kept 300k if i put one in. now i wouldnt be caught dead without one

i do its saved my items and its not like you have to do it every time just once per log in it does get annoying when world hopping tho.
