I waited a few months cause I used to have really bad lag and would get the "connection lost" thingy everytime I tried to use my bank, and it seemed like all I was soin was saying "yes keep this pin", so i finally decided to cancel it. Got a better connection now though and have a pin

Look, if your mom still drops you off at school, you ain't gangsta, pull up your damn pants!

No. It's USELESS if you know what you're doing.

amen to that

just be carefull

and if someone hacked you and changed your pass and recovery questions, its only a matter of time when he gets into your bank

yes, i do.

seeing as how my little brother has a little frend who seems to be in the habit of stealing my accounts, all of their stuff, and scamming on them till they have a life-ban. (4 accounts banned, 2 accounts loss of over 2mil cash and items)

i am personally making sure that on every single account i ever make, there will be a bank pin, and a hard one to guess.

5-10 seconds is worth it if u have sum little 12-year-old betch stealing all ur accounts.

Well, at best, it might buy you a little time.

The best defense is to have your security tools in place-- firewall (software and/or hardware), anti-virus, anti-spyware, and perhaps use an alternative browser.

Also, don't click on any suspicious links and try to avoid questionable sites.

I agree with weezcake.

I don't use one it would be just an unnesecary hassle for me. I think people who are prone to getting hacked should set one though.

I don't need both a password and a pin, it's kind of like the saying "belt and braces"

If you can't feel/be secure with just your password, you wont feel/be secure with adding a pin as extra security.

I have one on all of my accounts. I only have one account so that wasn't so tough. I need the extra security, especially since my dad thinks it's pointless to renew our anti-virus and anti-spyware subscriptions. Seeing as he is the only one in the house with a credit card, other than mom, I have no alternative. It's worth it. Four clicks everytime I log out and log in. No big hassle.

How many 11 year olds have their pin as "1337" or something like their birthday? It only provides enough protection if the user is aware of what he/she is putting as a pin.

And noctis, its incredibly(sp?) to get a good free spyware/virus protection software. There are people who think security should be free. I dont know of any in particular, I dont really use anti virus/spyware(Man thats gotta be asking for a scriptkiddie ;))

I don't know where to get free anti-whatever stuffs either. Do you think it'd be an issue if I did?
