January 24, 200620 yr I know topics like this have been done before but this one is a bit different. what kinds of weird and wonderful things can you find on google maps. Schools that look like robots, smilie faces in mountains and maybe even yourself if its got enuf zoom quality. Hows this for an incredible pic (zoom in) There's only two flying in the entire world. What are the chances that it was flying on the same day and over the same location that google was taking a snapshot. January 24, 200620 yr My house is on a golf course, so it's easy to spot mine and the resolution is not too bad either. Except it was an old picture, and you can only see our lot...we ended up building on the lot. So Google maps hasn't updated.

Just thought that looked pretty cool. What you're seeing are sandbanks, which go dry at low tide. They might be frozen too (look at the island, which is frozen/snowed in at the sea side)

Dunno about the secret bit though. Also there's hundreds of planes (flying or not) that are pictured in google earth, it's quite amazing really. Just look near airports, you are bound to spot a few.

January 26, 200620 yr Theres a stealth air plane base in Knob Noster, Mo just a little bit from here. They flew non-stop to Afghanistan in 2001 for bombing raids. Bet you can find something there. Its 960 feet long making it farily large as cruise ships go but surprisingly it only has 1 pool. Oh, yea thats not a waterpark, its a 11 meter long pool with 2 jacuzzis behind it; pretty much every cruise ship has one and most have 2 or 3.
