I added the 'sewers' plugin so that there are now randomly generated sewers throughout the world. I also increased the ore frequency so that its a bit more casual.

I just stopped the server to try and fix the starter-kit problems, I want to add McMMO but I don't want the annoying text so I may disable that and just have it tell you when you enter the command to tell you. Mining a diamond can level up three-four levels in about a minute which gets quite annoying sometimes.

The idea of a server to play a dungeoneering thing seems fun, but because of the scale of minecraft I think that instead of constructing one massive dungeon I should construct smaller dungeons with loot and treasure in. The loot and treasure is carried over across games and can be given to the questgivers.

I want to install the monster apocalypse plugin but it doesn't seem to be working. Installing that would certainly be a plus and make it more exciting and fun.

I could also make it hardcore, so that you are banned upon death temporarily.

Let me know if you start running an IC2 server...That would be more fun. (I would run one but I'm not...)

Isn't the size of the computer somewhat limited by the render distance of the program? I.E. If you build it larger than a chunk then it ceases to work properly...Or is that why you are running it as a server, so you can (or the server bypasses those limits automatically...though would be especially wasteful) put two people either side of the computer so that both chunks stay loaded?

I'm doing it as a server because then I can use stuff like Wireless Redstone and WorldEdit. Chunks are no problem since I set the map height to 1024, allowing four times as much construction inside the same chunk.

Mmmm, I am still not sure of the point of, basically, copying a design onto minecraft...It would be far more impressive to create something new...Or to create something that was visually impressive, rather than just 'Look at me, I can copy out of a book'...Adding a torch every 14(I guess) tiles doesn't really constitute creativity

I'm not copying anything. I'm only looking at guides for stuff like how to build the RAM. I'm planning on using a shitload of everything. Including the screen which is 32*32px and made out of glowstone lamps.

But yeah, if you are 'creating' then good. Though it would be somewhat difficult to assist you without a plan, since we would end up working at crossed purposes.

I built a stubby Orthanc, it's very useful for imprisoning other wizards atop and using as a base for my lightning magic.

I'll try, it does seem pretty fun. Do you have the server files already or will I have to assemble it myself? I also can't host 24/7, only when my PC is on.
