Obviously murdering a load of children probably isn't the best way you get your opinions voiced, though.

If like, the owner of coke murdered a load of people he may get increased sales. Any publicity is bad publicity (unless the coke is radioactive, etc)

But politically, you wouldn't vote for the person who killed loads of children. At least I wouldn't.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises with a total of 1 605 354 employees in the third quarter of 2011. The sample covers all industries except for agriculture, hunting and forestry.

Sounds like a good average...Only a third of your country not included...oh, and the poorest third...but you know...88,000 Dollars sounds better than 44,000 Dollars.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_average_wage

Also not including tax...But you know...You can trust Statistics Norway.

Tax was not included for either nation, it was gross salary, not net.

As for what you said there, it's massively wrong, agriculture and forestry are among the most prosperous industries, as diary products and baked goods are a big part of our culinary culture and we're a large producer of pulp and timber.

EDIT: Oh hey, would you look at that!

Norske Skogindustrier ASA or Norske Skog, which translates as Norwegian Forest Industries, is a Norwegian pulp and paper company based in Oslo, Norway and established in 1962. The corporation is the world's largest producer of newspaper (Newsprint) and magazine paper, with 18 mills around the world.

George Bush Campaigned to bomb Iraq's Children, Americans voted for him. Proof positive I say. =P

But yeah, the logic behind it goes something like this:

Guy kills the kids, then there is a huge uprising across Europe of similar people, tired of living with johnny forienger, then things get better...Voting is, therefore, redundant.

On another level, if killing children somehow improved the country then that's good.

Similarly Morrissey claims that if you deep fry children they taste good, so maybe there is an upside after all.

agriculture, hunting and forestry.

It also includes all of the army, since soliders wear clothes, and wool makes clothes, and wool grows on sheep, and sheep eat food, and food is grown by agriculture.

But yes, the statistics disagree with your assessment.

From 88,000 to 44,000 indicates a rather large gap between your supposed statistics, and my supposed statistics.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I made a game suggestion a day ago and you guys have had this huge argument but not even looked at my suggestion ;_;

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

That is the problem with putting something in the fireplace which people don't read.

Whatever the [bleep] OECD is supposed to be, I'd rather trust a local, government funded institution whose job is to keep track of numbers than the third party who says Americans are the richest people on Earth.

Indeed. I don't think we are gonna agree (For all my arguments I would say that Norwegians were probably paid more, though tax cuts heavily into that, while the actual price of Norwegian goods is higher than the extra money they get in wages).

Personally, 'local' and 'Government funded' means 'small picture' and 'propaganda department'...Though I am not overly trusting of the OECD or CIA, either...Economics is 9 parts guesswork and 1 part copying everyone else, so it all comes down to what statistics you use and how you use them.

Though, in summery, Lei, not being able to eat Burger King is a sign of psychological illness, or part of growing up (As you, surely, know, your tastebuds develop as you grow older, changing as they do.)

In case of the former, consult a specialist, and/or Mather/Nef.

In the case of the latter...don't read too much into it.

O.O Maybe I should stop speaking..... just so people can stop debating...

And, to point out, McDonalds has been doing that push to make their food healthier. Pisses me off that the Happy Meal is no longer just fries, nuggets/burger, and a soda, but its for the greater good I guess.

Burger King hasn't really done anything to make their meals healthier as far as I know....

There is nothing wrong with systems that are generated by the person...Its just systems which are, basically, a port of a computer game tend to flounder quite heavily, since computer game logic runs that 'you simply can't open that door' where as roleplaying doesn't really have that logic.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Uhm... "The door won't budge, looks like whatever's behind it will remain out of reach."

We're Tavern Roleplayers. When things don't go as planned, or we are presented barriers, we tend to go GRIMSMASH on things. ... Or REIGA- naw, that doesn't really ring.

Seriously....just tell me what I can do to fix it....or if I should just scrap the image.

Needs more shading to highlight the edges and corners.

Hmmmm....well, I would suggest using a bump map for the staff...either with metal rings, or wood grain.

I would also use an inverted sphere with a lightsource for the orb, to give the impression it was free standing...

Hey jthamind, how are you doing?

Also, I've just been playing 'super hostile legendary' on minecraft, really reccomend it to any minecrafters. Such a great map.

qTLQRuS.png

Needs more shading to highlight the edges and corners.

This, also, a minor suggestion that isn't really important. You could maybe add a small light effect to the orb, or something to the center of the orb to make it look like it's glowing. Would look pretty sweet. But the only real necessity would be as Mather pointed out, highlight the edges and corners a bit. :)

You know, I really get stressed easily, and I've been overloaded lately. That's quite troublesome because for some reason I'm getting slammed with a lot more homework than normal at the end of the year. There's a reason, ut right now not even "God has decreed MORE HOMEWORK IRREVOCABLY" is a good reason.

Who else here was really impressed by Song from the Depths?

It wasn't particularly epic, no. But if you pay attention, it really delivers the feels.

They did a great job with One piercing Note, making you really feel sister Catherina's death after her character development.

But here with Remora... all I could think was "No." Never before have I ever wanted to kill a high-level monster for any other reason than to continue a quest, but her I really wish to avenge her, though it'll be many years until I'm able to do so.
