February 6, 200620 yr Well, not only is the Superbowl good for great plays and nail-biting action, but the commercials are what draw me to watch every year. Usually the best commercials come at the beginning...big bucks for big spots. Nonetheless, it is time to share your favorite commercials. ------- The catagories will be: Humor: "Good" commercials (you know what I mean): Amazing commercials (cinematography, effects, etc.): ------- You don't have to fill each catagory. Just share which ones were your favorite :P ------- My favorites: >>>Budweiser. The commercial opens with two teams of horses lined up like a football team. A group of animals ranging from bison to sheep to duck to deer observe from the side. The horse on the field places his hoof on the ball as to hike it. The camera shows a shot of two sheep on the sideline and suddenly, another sheep runs in between the two and onto the field. The sheep is completely shaved and looks naked. Upon entering the field, it begins to shake his rear while the animals on the sideline laugh. I wasn't able to catch what the two cowboys watching said, but the commercial was hilarious anyway. >>>Budweiser. Two big Clydesdale horses and a tiny colt stand in a barn looking at the Budweiser carriage. The small colt is hooked up to the carriage and is trying with all his strength to pull the wagon. Suddenly the wheels begin to turn ever so slightly and the wagon slowly starts to pull out of the barn. The colt appears to be pulling it all by himself, but when the camera shows a side view, you see the two larger horses nudging the wagon along with their heads. This was just a "good" commercial. >>>American Mortgage (?). The commercial opens with two doctors standing over a patient lying asleep on a hospital bed. They are talking and a fly is flying around the room. One doctor appear very agitated. The camera cuts scenes and shows a woman and younger child (the ones coming to visit the man in the hospital bed) in an elevator. The scene cuts back to the hospital room and the agitated doctor takes some heart defibrillators and zaps the fly with it. The fly falls onto the chest of the sleeping patient. Suddenly, the woman and child walk into the room, just as one doctor says to the other "Now he's dead!" The commercial ends by saying "Don't jump to conclusions." Or something like that. Very funny. ------- Now it's your turn!

Yea those were good until everyone and their brother would say it whenever they answered the phone :lol: I still do it occasionally. But there were definitely some great ones this year.

February 6, 200620 yr The one where the guy puts all the bud light in his fridge and his buddy asks how do you know your friends arnt gonna drink all your bud light? and he presses a light switch, and the wall rotates and becomes a table, and on the other side they'res this guy stealing the beer, and he says, guys! the magic fridge is back! and they take all the beer, and when the fridge goes away, they're on the floor chanting, magic fridge, magic fridge lmao that one is funny! But one of the best ones in terms of "coolness" was the Budlight (Budwesier?) commercial with all the fans holding up cards that made the picture of the glass and the beer. And then they would switch colors so the beer poured into the glass. That was a really nice one.

February 6, 200620 yr I didn't see any of them, but I saw the halftime show. Maybe its just me, but old men with mullets wearing turtle neck casmire sweaters, black shirts with glitter, and a leather jacket ontop of a forest green shirt... God help us all.

The sheep streaking....meh...not as funny as last year's Zebra Referee. The Leonard Nemoy one was amusing. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. February 6, 200620 yr My 2 were: The first was a Miller Light commercial with the bear chasing the two guys. The bear backs one guy up against a wall, and the guy pulls out a Miller Light, and opens it up and puts it on the rock. Then the other guy runs past the beer and grabs it. I only caught the end of that one :( Basically, he is complaining to his agent about how he can't attend the convention because of a headache. As a result of his head hurting, his hand is open (looks like the IDIC sign, but fingers are all closed) and people think he is doing the IDIC sign and therefore give it to him.
