Spent 20 minutes building a barricade of textbooks around my fridge (I knew they'd come in useful one day, £150 well spent) to try and stop the mouse getting out from behind there. My friend pointed out I've possibly barricaded it out of its home, rather than inside it. Went and made a celebratory cup of tea anyway. Guess where the milk is -.- Maxed 15/06/13
June 10, 201313 yr A quick google offered this suggestion:"Mix plaster of paris with a food that's attractive to mice, such as cornmeal, flour or even chocolate powder. Place the mixture in an open container where you suspect mice are present, along with a second container of water. The mice will eat the mixture and, as they are poisoned, seek out the water. The water will react with the plaster of paris, which will get hot and burn the stomachs of the mice. Try to put the powder in an accessible area and limit the routes the mice can go to die, because you don't want their carcasses to rot in your walls, floors or ceilings."
