How would you interpret this?

I'd say that he was talking to someone who's name could be shortened to "bone". Telling them that he had to go because his father was bothering him to do something and that he would be back soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At least I hope that's what he meant.

Perhaps he needs to practice his trombone. Many brass players refer to practicing the trombone as "boning."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I PLAY THE TROMBONE! and people call it "bone". Lol, but that's kinda awkward... "i have a bone to pick with my dad..." Holly crap, i'd be dead if i said that to my dad....
