Y2g2003
The D2H stats (or the ones I can see in that pic) aren't even that appealing to me. Origionally I predicted that the slash attack bonus should be much higher then that. Infact, its actual Slash bonus is 16 points lower then I had predicted. Was only expecting the Crush bonus to be off, in the prediction. The strength is the only other thing of importance that I'm interested in knowing. If that isn't the same, or higher, then my origional prediction... This weapon probably wont be worthwhile getting. R.I.P Shiva
paulhartman
For the clue about the shadow and middle of a circle, how about a circular house on stilts. It would cast a circular shadow on the ground below it. The are several of these in Shilo village in the area of the Slayer Master ( also under his hut). But, I am sure in other places as well. Umega
Hmm, the terrain outside of the fishing guild looks different, more like the revamped areas (ground is uneven with that long grass). :? No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

drgnslyer_15
i couldn't even see the stats for that goofy [wagon] lookin weapon... I am wondering what the range armor looks like... Y2g2003
Yeah, well what I gave as far as stats go are really what they probably should be. They seem to really be messing up the stats on melee items a lot as of late. I don't get how or why they are low balling the slash bonus like that. My only hope is that the strength is higher then I thought, because then that would make sense. For as slow as the weapon is, it should be a little more accurate then that. Can't comment too much on the strength, since it wasn't visible in the image. I just hope that isn't a real big dissappointment. Only real thing I was expecting to be wrong was the crush bonus. The stats on the Two Handers before it were too inconsistent to get an actual prediction out of. And with the slash bonus... they completely tossed away the pattern that they had going. Makes you wonder why they even bothered to implement patterns in the weaponry back on RSC. They sure don't apply any of those rules these days. They just pull numbers out of the sky and think that it looks nice on paper when it doesn't. :? If anyone could fill me in on what the strength of the weapon is... I would appreciate it. Its hard to give a complete opinion on a weapon when you can only assume what the strength will be. Which at the moment I'm assuming is the same as the Slash bonus, which if thats true will be a crying shame. EDIT: The STR bonus is officially crap (93). Don't bother getting it unless you want it for its looks. Which most people seem to be down on how the weapon appears (it doesn't look bad to me, but then again it isn't great either). The strength and slash stats are a huge disappointment in my opinion. R.I.P Shiva

Indizle
Well i explored the barb village a bit, and i noticed that the barbarians carried many different melee weapons now (battle axe, warhammer/maul thing, long sword, another sword held like a 2h but used with one hand, a long mace, spear), but they added an archer with a longbow. In f2p, he is the first pure ranging enemy we have to fight (we had the barbarians throw throwing axes before, but that was only a secondary attack). I just thought that was a bit note worthy. Also, you can talk to the barbarians and start a fight through conversation, as well as learn some history of the barbarians from one of them (the only one you cannot attack). Not to mention the area now crawls with red and grey squirrels, and a lone racoon in the dining hall. Also, I find it interesting the ore rocks were moved to the center of town. wonder why they did that. I then went to falador and immediately felt like i was walking through the castles in Super Mario Bros. (NES version). I mean everything is now white blocks...kinda overdone witht eh bricks if you ask me. Also, the white nights now have a light blue trim on the feather things on their helmet instead of red (forgot what they are called). Has this affected the armor you get after joining the white knights? Overall, i think f2p got a great bargain on this update. I especially like the barbarian village. Prolly gonna hang there for a few days now.

Like 4 Melee Barrow sets compared to 1 range and 1 mage? Yea thats real balanced. Just more and more little reasons to drift farther and farther away from RS... Indizle
Aparently trimmed wizard and range armors are members only...tis a shame, since like the melee people have 10 sets in f2p and mage and range can't even get one set. I personally wouldnt mind if some of the trimmed armors were taken away for trimmed mage and range gear, that way all three classes get to look nice. Doomster
Some other things. 1. Falador ... went a bit overboard with the whitewash there! - The park fence looks nice and fancy though. The furnace has also had a facelift. An unwanted tweak - the Mining Guild - the 3 door route from the path south of the bank is no more - shame, as this was faster for non-autoers, and a good place to trap suspected autoers that tried to go though on "all doors open". 2. Dwarven mine (main entrance) More detal and equipment, non-attackable engineers wandering around NEW- Level 25 Black Guards - not got the full stats, but my level 65 could drop them very quickly for no damage. Satenza
Heres me in the new enchanted robes. Didn't like the hat :) With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
