yugioh stupidest game ever?

plz post opinions

You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

Why don't you give us an example of why you think this, and not just ask the question?

Well, in my opinion, "Yugioh!" actually had a good amount of depth and strategy to it, that not many card games achieved. I played it when I was 10 or so, and was fascinated by the opening of a booster pack and getting some rare holographics card. About a year ago I kind of gained an interest for the strategy element, but didn't feel like wasting my money. :wink:

Well I'm almost 14 and I played it when I was around 11 and 12. Mostly because I was good at it and there was a game shop right across the street from my apartments lol. It really isn't that stupid for younger kids, but for people 13 and up it just seems kind of pointless and a big waste of money.

I've gotta disagree... I thought I was a nerd till I saw some juniors playing Yugioh during lunch... Now I dont feel so bad :D (btw being a freshman sucks :? )

Anyways I personally dont like Yugioh. I can understand that younger kids like it and thats fine with me and hell... When I was 8 I was totally into Pokemon. Now Im ashamed of how much of my parents money I wasted :?

A: Ha ha ha, say goodbye! Attack, ancient magician!

B: That's what you think! I had this trap card here!

A: What?! No!!!!!

C: I believe in you, Yugi. You're down 100 to 4000, but the power of friendship will guide you to victory.

A: That's right! No need to give up now!

*Yugi makes a big comeback and wins*

That's what I got from the show. :roll:

That is all that happens. Yugi's opponent gets him down to like 200 power but his "heart of the cards" lets him get his perfect cards. :roll:

I think Yugi is stupid but then again, I played Pok̮̩̉̉mon ^^.

I wasted probably 200$ CAN of it, but it was a fun game. Go EndlessVortex! (The YGO club I was in, irl)

Did you guys ever read the manga? Until you have, don't criticize it. It's a pretty cool one, kinda gory at some parts(wayyyyyyyy more then the TV show. 10000X more)

I never really understood Yugioh, so I can't really say either way about it... But in the past I have spent way too much on Pokemon cards and long before that, Magic cards.

In retrospect, it was probably a huge waste of money, but it was fun while it lasted, so I guess it was somewhat worth it.

No. chutes and ladders is the dumbest game ever

only to be beaten by sticky situations, which is just a chutes and ladders rip off with stuff like "don't do drugs" thrown in :roll:

yu-gi-oh has strategy, but I'm sure that there have been games where less strategy has been made and it's more centered on whoever collects the best wins*coughmagination

We call it Snakes & Ladders and it was great fun... Until you got to like number 27 or 28 (Can't really remember) and you get put down to like 5 or 6 again. :(

Oh yeah about the subject at hand. If you've played it and you think it's unworthy to be bought/sold as it's "stupidest". Then you're entitled to your opinion, if you're basing your opinion on watching someone play or even worse, the over-exaggerated TV show. You can now PM a moderator to close your topic before someone gets pissed with you.

How dare you say that!

But anyways, no Yugioh was fun while i was younger, but it seems weird and repetitive right now.

Yugioh=200pts

enemy=9000000 pts.

Yugioh uses heart of the cards and wins.The end.

for the first year yugioh came out, i bought like over $1,000 worth of cards lol. It was a great game but now it....isn't. I sold my whole collection of cards on ebay in 2004 for $600 dollars. :)

Yeah, Yu-Gi-Oh does teach KIDS the nice life lessons regarding friendship, never giving up, and believing in yourself blah blah blah. I don't think they put this show on the air to entertain people older than 10.

I find it really funny that when they get attacked "directly" and lose life points, they actually flynch and feel pain. It's a HOLOGRAM! How can it hurt you in any way?

I agree with whoever said that Pokemon > Yu-Gi-Oh...
