You had it the other way round, it should be 2,136,581 divide by 3,910,201, i.e. 0.5461 or 54.61%.

I don't know where you get the idea total plus combat /2 will yield you the percentage you're looking for.

 

 

 

First you have to take out your combat from your total to work it out.

 

 

 

It's easier just to take my

 

combat xp = 22,741,050

 

 

 

and then divide that by my

 

total xp = 49,113,455

 

 

 

and get a dividen of

 

 

 

0.463030956

 

 

 

As you can see close to half of my xp is combat stats... if I counted slayer as combat it would be 0.495357596

 

 

 

Needless to say I don't really need a percentage to tell me I'm melee heavy... you basically know you are when most your higher level stats are in melee :wink:

EDIT: I'm 1356 total, 84 combat. So I don't think I'm too melee heavy, it's mostly just my range and mage... Plus 52 prayer (combat)

(combat xp)/(total xp) gives the percentage of combat xp of your total. That's what I'm keeping track of.

Well I had always considered myself a skill builder... there are certain things to consider though.

 

 

 

For instance, fishing and cooking, sure I build them, but as I think about it I hardly ever sold a fish - really only ever when in dire need of cash - why? Because I use fish as food... to melee more.

 

 

 

Fact is as you have me thinking about this most everything I do is so I can continue slaying and fighting... I'm a terrible merchant and most my income comes from my wc and fletching because it's hard to make money slaying and fighting - face it monster drops per what you use to get a good one render it non-profitable most the time - and of course I wanted a whip and verac and other tools which I could not have unless I found an alternative income to fund my lust for blood :wink:
