Friend of mine has got the book. It has got a lot of good titles in it and I'm sure it's an interesting guide if you're starting. But I don't really feel like watching movies by list anymore.

Hey, I know what I saved up for. Cd's. :P

Steely Dan - Countdown to Ecstasy

The Smiths - The Queen is Dead

Arcade Fire - Funeral

Steve Vai - Sex & Relligion

Steve Vai - Alien Love Secrets

Bob Dylan - Hard Rain

Bob Dylan - Time out of Mind

Supertramp - Famous Last Words

Cd's were cheapies. Except the one from The Queen is Dead and Funeral they were all ÃÆââââ¬Ã¡Ãâì5,-- each. \'

And two movies I've been wanting for a long time who were both very expensive, but now very, very cheap.

I got Pitfall and the Face of Another already on Masters of Cinema, but I haven't got Woman of the Dunes and the extras are really good; documentary and previously unreleased short movies. And the price for the Pre-Order was quite good.

I should post on this more often, I buy loads of CD's.

Bought the new Kings of Leon CD today, Because of the Times as well as The Essential Bruce Springsteen, I love some of his stuff. Also bought the French Connection and Casino Royale on DVD a couple of weeks ago.

Also bought 10,000 Days by Tool a week or so ago as well as Era Vulgaris by the Queens of the Stone Age.

This is the first colaboration between Reed and Green. So far I have only seen The Third Man, which is a fantastic movie of course. So I'm really curious how this one will be.

I enjoyed it, it's no Third Man but it's worth the watch.

I recently got this;

I enjoyed Letters better, but flags is worth having as well.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

^^ Yay for spaghetti westerns :D

Bought three more CD's in town on Wednesday:

Zeitgeist - The Smashing Pumpkins (not bad, some amazing songs, some mediocre)

Libertad - Velvet Revolver (much better than their last one)

The Nightfly - Donald [bleep]en (on How2Pk's recommendation, really enjoyed it, it's definitely music which I could see working just as well at chilled out type parties in the background as well as listening to it properly)

I had a little bit money left from my train trip, and I had some change in my wallet, so I bought:

Tom yum goong (Honour of the Dragon)

Huo Yuan Jia (Fearless)

Martial arts are always cool. :)
