Mercifull
Just purchased Battlestar Galactica Season 3 :) Can't wait to watch it when I get from work lol.The UK DVDs are pants. NO EXTRAS, NO WEBISODES, NO COMMENTARIES. The only thing its got is the Story So Far which is only a few clips from the previous two series with a voiceover, its not a proper feature. On the plus side the first 8 episodes (all ive watched so far) are a much better print quality than season 2, no grain/grey washout. The missing out of the webisodes is obscene though, especially in the first few episodes of the season. Duck was just some random extra in the background of a couple of episodes but he had quite a big role in the webseries. It shows him as he has to deal with the grief of losing Nora and the steps he took to join the NCP. We also miss out on the Jammer story and the agonising decision he made to join the police force. He was not a collaborator and thats why it was so heartbreaking to see him be executed, especially after what he did for Cally. Here is a rundown of the differences between region 1 and 2. Harrington
Yeah, I knew the region 1 disc was way better. It was really just for convenience I bought the region 2 version. Most of the stuff that's missing I've seen online anyway, so I'm not too bothered about it :)
indy500fan
I didn't know about the differences between region 1 and 2. Doesn't make me feel as bad that I had to buy 2 boxsets for season 2, at a combined price about $10-20 more. Still would rather have just one boxset per season, hopefully they don't do the same junk with season 3.
Mercifull
The amount extra that 2.0 and 2.5 cost compared to the UK dvds was less than the cost of two pints. I'd have gladly paid that for all the features. theres a complete Season 2 boxset coming soon for Region 1 and Season 3 will be released all together too. (saw it at cinema) I thought it was great at the cinema, but if I'm being honest... I think it loses a lot on DVD. Still enjoyable though :)

Satenza
Heh, i have the Bogart/Stewart/Warner Gangsters collection to :P With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Satenza
Cheyenne Social Club is quite interesting, although a bit forceful with its comedy. Not really my type of western. Firecreek is kinda average western, but the stars in it make it a lot more watchable. Fonda plays a good part. The FBI Story is ok as well but lacks a good pace as well as wastes some of its talented stars in it. and i have not watched The Stratton Story yet.
