ok this is my story and its kinda crazy to do....at least i thought it was.

 

 

 

i was in a non member world selling stupid items that only non members would buy, full addy a mith med some bad food like cakes and what not.

 

any way...i was done selling and decided i wanted to go chop trees in a p2p world...right before i log out i see that a lvl 4 had followed me to the bank (his name is starblaxe800) he was lost in fally and asked "can you take me to lumbridge?" i said no im busy srry and he said ok it took about 5 seconds for me to see that he is in a really lame spot and might not give rs a chance at this rate...i siad ok follow me and he did. we had a nice convorsation on the way there about how much fun he could have if he just sticks around and keeps playing. any way when we got to lumby he praised me like a god and traded with me....he offered about 300 coins and every thing he was holding (i could tell he was fresh off of tutorial island) so i turned it down and said no thnx enjoy the game, then i told him if he ever needs help pm me.....id say that was a little over a month ago and he is now over lvl 58......i bought him full addy full mith and FULL RUNE! with a kite and weps and all.....man i wish someone could have done that for me when i was f2p.....any way ive yet to see karma fly back at me but im waiting....(also that full rune was ALOT of money to me cuz im a nuublet- im sure there may be others like me saying omg thats alot to give away i dont beleive him) so i beg of you add starblaxe800 and ask him "how much money has kyle givin you?" kyle is my real name and him and I are great friends now (even tho he is a freeloader)

Well, i'm selling this d spear to this guy that has no cash...i'm letting him take awhile theving furs and selling them.

I had just got killed at infernal mages, and i lost a blue d set..i only need to kill 33, and i was sure that the only way i could do in one trip was with blue d hide. So, while still in fally i said that i had just died so i was buying green d hide 15k, and just do in two bank trips. Pauly

 

(i'm not sure if i'm allowed to say the person's name, so, i'll call him/her pauly) said that he/her would sell me blue d hide for 12k.

 

 

 

 

 

i barely finished my slayer task...which means if i used green d hide, i would have had to another bank trip

honestly, i dont believe in karma...however i hope their is some type of thing and respect the thought of it

Greeeeeat post. :) I've always been a huge believer in karma. What goes around, comes around... Karma is a . Two saying I practically live my life by. :o

 

 

 

My own RS-related karma stories... well, awhile back, I felt nice and at that time I was getting bored of RS (f2p does that to ya... p2p <3) so I walked around Varrock and gave random people pieces of rune.

 

 

 

Then I went over to Edgeville yews (practically my home on f2p) and started randomly talking to the WC'ers about how I had gotten karma points. They were all, "Why?" And I was like "Because I've been nice today :)!" One of the cutters ran to his bank, came back, and traded me like 800 air runes and 50 sapphires. I said "Wow, thanks," and he's just like, "I like nice people. :)" HIIII KARMA. :) Also, met a new great friend (although he hasn't logged on forever :().

 

 

 

And, one time this guy died from a tree spirit. Santa hat appeared on ground (worth like 4.5m at the time). I gave it back. Months and months later, on p2p, a nice girl gives me a free whip. What goes around comes around. :)

 

 

 

So yeah. Golden rule. Follow it! Karma. It will come back to bite you in the butt.

yup :) , karma will always kick your [wagon] in the end.

 

 

 

i've gained more from it by using that rule "most of the time" (i'm only human)

Here's how karma worked for me the other day (includes my own carelesness):

 

 

 

I was at barrows and got dharok in tunnels, so i go down there and kill some skeletons and other npc's to get KC over 20. i go in the door at NW side and go down the tunnel that leads to SW room, there's a lvl 76 or something asks me what to do down there. so i start explaining him how thigns work and stuff. i also see him get attacked by karil and tell him to go through a door and supply him with food and a prayer pot. he kills karil and goes to chest.

 

 

 

while he is passing through his chest door Dharok attacks me. i drink pray pot, switch to mage gear, pray pot again, equip spell and pray pot again. then the guy pm's me something again so i write him a pm and start answering his question. [at this point everyone knows what's going to happen] so i look at my char and see me redbarred, i quickly eat, heal up to 48 with sharks, drink pray pot and die.

 

 

 

then i pm the guy that i helped in hopes that he hasn't left the barrows yet. but he had. oh well, lost like 300k worth of stuff. woulda been a big deal for him though. as i understood he wasn't so wealthy player and 300k would have made his day.

 

 

 

as for me, i laughed. it was my own stupidity that got me killed so no1 to blame but me. only thing that bugged me is that i had to go walk to ghost town to get my ecto back and the fact that some other guy might have got my loot and not the nice lvl 76.

Ahh, Karma my good friend.

 

 

 

Although as it may seem like Karma doesn't always work, believe me it does. How else do I have 17 dragon drops? :P

 

 

 

People believe Karma will come back to them immideitly, this is not true. It happens of a period of time.

 

 

 

The "Karma" which you get back is often more than what you gave.

 

 

 

I asked my friend to come pking with me, he comes and we get teamed in multi he dies loses whip, I give him mine.

 

 

 

Next day I do a clue I have in my bank, was praying for a robin hood hat. And what do you know, a robin hod hat! Enough to buy my whip back.

 

 

 

There's plenty of other examples, but I don't know in which way my Dragon Drops are related to something good I've done, but I'm sure they are. And same with the whip pks I've had.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also have luck, which I believe is trying to Balance out Karma. As some of you know, I consider myself to have Terrible luck, really when trying to get something. (Barrows hates me, Steel dragons hate me, Iron dragons hate me even more, KQ hates me) and good luck when I'm not.

 

 

 

For example, I rarely get items from barrows, and when I do they're not very good ones. Another time while doing barrows, I just opened Dharoks Tomb and my power dies. I lost 5M in items.

 

 

 

The other day, my friend asks me to DK with him, first kill I get Dragon axe, wasn't even trying and only went because my friend asked me to.

 

 

 

Then we have, a mixture of both Karma and luck.

 

 

 

I got scammed out of a whip, so I asked my friend if I could borrow the money to get one. I said I'd pay him back by getting a shield half drop.

 

 

 

Take the whip to greaters for a slayer assignment, about 100 kills in. BAM a shield half. Paid my friend back, plus had some extra money for myself :)

When i reached 100 combat and had a drop party and dropped about 500k worth all kinds of items, i right after that party went to barrows and after 2 chests i saw a guthan warspear in my inventory :P

Nice Karma-stuff, however, when you're nice to other, they are not always nice to you...

For all the people saying "I always try for karma and I never get it!!!1!11!1", karma WILL NOT usually work if you are TRYING to get good karma.

I gave 10k to some random noob (to round my money down to 100k after alching some stuff :P ) and I'm good friends with that guy now (yes friendship is a reward too).
