Met lots of tip.it members and gained an other new friend :P Opinion - very good but shame though about the bypassers and beggars.. It kinda ruined the atmosphere a bit. Soothsayer Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 Hey, like a lot of people who posted in the other topic, I was disappointed at first by the sheer number of people and the telegrabs fliying everywhere, lot's of people with rude comments and unawareness of tip.it. I saw many rune drops near me or under my feet get grabbed by other folks, but I stayed the whole two hours and it was well worth it. In time I got a bunch of good things, none of them with telegrab (I tried telegrabbing but it was just so slow and a waste of runes, so I went running). So it was a lot of fun and I saw the TET members being polite, answering questions, giving hints of what and where they're dropping stuff, and dropping incessantly for 2 hours. I do think that perhaps they should've picked another place for the party, after all why have all the non-tip.it folk clogging the party if you can't openly advertise tip.it for hosting it (due to rs rules)? But beside that, you've put a lot of work and money into this and made it successful for a lot of people, and all for free. That should not be in any way disrespected (like that guy saying f*** tipit). Anyway, here's the pic of what I got (except for the 100k, laws and airs I had with me): (poor image quality, I converted in ms paint...ew) I'll be looking forward to the next events, and I will sure contribute for the next drop party. Danced with trojann, but he kept grabbing for my robes. :lol: Also, got in that great picture featuring some cool people (BTW im the infinity guy standing next to OMG!!!! barihawk!!! :P ). Had a few problems due to being f2p and having no bank space - ignore the beret and the glory ammy in my inventory, they weren't dropped. One of the first "good" drops I did. Don't blink!!!!! A wee competition - I asked what TET stand for :P winner got 1k bronze arrows. TET rocks! - also check the inventory! Someone got a nice wee present! I added in a something extra towards the end! Ahhh, what you can get a mob to do when waiting for some drops :P My last drop of the night... Thanks to all who came, thanks to all who donated in the slave auction & those who bought the slaves! dorkvader Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 yes i had a great time following everyone around. it was cool after dinner drop partey! what could be better. anyway i hung out with satenza and other people at the end southwest of the bank and danced and told people that even though i diddn't get anything, i still had a good time and they should be happy to see such an event. this was my first rs event i've been to and i loved it! anyway, there was a litle quiz among our little pack of about 7 people. the question was who is currentley #3 on the runescape hiscores. i promptley said "n0valyfe!!!" and won myself a spare rune scimitar! i am so happy i think i will never sell it. i dont have any pics though! barihawk probabley wont remember me, but i followed him around for awhile. i said somthing like " it must be frustrating to have so many people complaining about not getting anything or being poor" anyway, i had a awesome time! there were so many phats people had there and i think i saw someone with a meat tenderizer equipped. all in all this was one of my favorute rs days ever have a nice day everyone! i did! and enjoyed seeing so many tipit people as far as suggestions, i'd ratehr pick somthing up off a table, becasue all taht clicking on the ground, and i stay there like 1 minute after i stop - it gets frusrating! ok tahts my 2 cents (hope at least someone read all this! lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cause a bunch of other got added :P Anyway heres some pics. I didn't really go for any drops i just hung around and enjoyed myself. Moops on crack. After a load of us went for a game of CW's where i saw many more tipiters :D With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. I also dropped 3 gold bars and 1 gold ore I say we have the next one in the members wildy, like lvl 55. :) also, i was running around saying HYT to everyone! (Quit: tallest please come to the death altar, give me 1,337,000,000 gp, a golden tinderbox, and a spade, also steal one of zidanes phats and give it to me.
