Everyones dream would be to get ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1 000 000. You'd be a millionaire. But now you got it, what to spend it on? A car? A house? A boat? A wife  ?

Well now i think of it, i wouldnt really know what to spend it on... Id probably keep it in a bank and let the interest rake in

But what d'you think?

Please keep it within ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1 000 000, we dont want anything like 'Id buy the NHL, Or Chelsea

Thank you

Simon^

First I would convert it to USD ... giving me about 1 250 000 USD :P. So then I would buy myself a new house and put a really big plasma HDTV in there. I would build my own custom computer with dual core processors and the most expensive stuff I could find, I would buy every type of gaming console ever invented, then put the rest of it in a bank account and ration it out for food and clothes and other necessities ;).

I'd probably want a house with a small cinema in it; chairs, screen (not as big as in the big cinemas) and sound. And maybe a room for my DVD's. Buy some DVD's, rest on bank account.

I'd convert it to AU$ giving me a good 2.3mil.

Just enough to buy an ok penthouse on the gold coast.

Anything else I'd bank then eventually buy more stuff with it.

I'd spend it on a Massive house. And hire loads of staff, and make a BIG hosting company.

I'd buy like 30 Servers, advertisements everywhere. I'd be a BILLIONAIRE. It'd be an investment :).

And I'd also buy LOADS of toast :)

Around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30,000 on a car - nothing stupid, something reasonably fast but practical too like a top of the range Audi A3.

̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30,000 on paying off student loans and not getting one next year or the year after.

̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã250,000 put away to get me and the woman a house after finishing university, in a nice area of Leeds probably.

̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5,000 on a computer setup for me - FX60, dual 7900GTX, 2GB RAM, a couple of TB of storage, a couple of big high quality CRT screens (because I like them), an even bigger leather chair than I have now.

̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1,500 on a lappy T for the woman.

...and the rest invested and making more money for me.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

I think I might stop pirating things.

I'd certainly buy myself a fancy new computer -- basically, I'd spend as much money as one can reasonable spend on a computer (so nothing that's just gimmicky or useless, but everything else). I'd get fancy sound. I'd also buy a huge set of reference books. Maybe also a large selection of juggling balls.

All that'd probably be < ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10,000, I suppose. I can't really think of anything that else I want that can be bought, however. I don't really want a fancy house or car, and I don't have any particular desire to spend lots of money on a holiday.

Donate it all to Bubsa's Marathon but keep about 100,000 to buy a plane ticket to watch and laugh. I am happy with what I have, I don't see the need for more when there are people in the world who don't have anything.

Well I would get all the things that I want/need at the moment.

Get a nice computer/tv/car etc. Might buy a flat/house in Edinburgh and move back there.

Would pay off my student debt, then give a bit of the money to help my family.

Would invest some of it and save the rest.

Pay off my student loans, buy a new Saturn, get a nice house for my family (by nice I mean a normal one) and put the money in a secret account with high interest and use it to pay for my kid's school. Eventually I would buy our old farm back and build a house there.

definently put it in some sort of stocks or bonds or whatever makes money these days. 5% a year off of 1 million is $50,000, i could definently live off of that. wouldnt quit my job or anything, it would all just be supplementary :D

Speaking of getting rich, did anyone in the UK watch that programme last night that followed a few lottery winners?

Someone who won ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã4mil was told he would get ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã800 interest a day from her special bank account.

I'm not a very charitable person, but I think I could honestly say if i was getting ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã800 a day, I'd give around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100 to charity. Spending ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã800 a day on yourself is not cool.

i think i'd use like 100.000 to buy a car ( normall one), a new computer , clothes for my familie and the rest to add some to our monthly budget.

Cause we are not to rich :P and some multimedia stuff etc...

And the other 900.000 on a special bank account ( in belgium it's possible to make quite alot of money by putting your (BIG) amounts of cash on a special bank account) and just live normall for a year or 2 and then i probably made 500.000-1.000.000 from the bank account :)

1. Get a nice house, not sure where yet. A little bit out of the way yet not secluded.

2. Get a nice car (I wouldn't be able to drive it yet but why the hell not?). A sporty car.

3. Upgrade all my equipment. As in, computer - TV - kitchen stuffs etc.

4. Put it into the bank, or savings bond.
