October 15, 201114 yr New Justice album. Pretty great.On my first listen through I thought it was a bit boring. Still good, but not as interesting as Cross. I'll definitely listen to it more though. Cross is one of my favorite albums ever though, so I think it'll be hard to top. that looks like the most fun show... ever.

October 15, 201114 yr I agree, I'm not sure what to make of the new Justice album. I'm listening to it again, and I'm at Civilization right now. The production is what bothers me most about the whole thing, I think. I don't like the flanged drone things on this song at all, sounds too muddy. I like Ohio, wish there was a little less sidechain to it, and less hiss to the vocals... neat drums. Canon (Primo) reminds me of that interlude track on Master of Reality by Black Sabbath, but even more baroque/medieval. Canon isn't what I wanted it to be at all (I wanted it to be like Canon (Primo)), it's quite noisy. On'n'on is nice, the recorded drums are cool here, Gaspard's flute is sweet too (it sounds almost like a synth actually, but really what would be the point of using a synth). Great kick on Brianvision. Reminescent of Planisphere, except it's even more dissonant. Probably not going to listen to this much. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. October 16, 201114 yr The album Illuminaudio by Chiodos. Yah, it's kinda a stretch from the music I usually listen to now. But for some reason this album I just find really good. October 16, 201114 yr Finally checking what the big hubbub people were making over dubstep/etc. I've listened to some songs before but usually it was only a minute or two worth of listening. I still don't like it. The closest thing that I like that is dubstep (or not, no idea about the classificationz of the stepz in this genre) is the group/d00d/d00ette known as Skeptiks, and they're pretty good but they have that house/techno vibe to them so I don't know if they're really dubstep. At the same time I finally began to listen to Deadmau5 since he does house I heard, and by the gods. Ghosts n Stuff is his best song and it goes amazing with this time of the year- it feels very halloween like and it makes me feel nostalgic. He has a handful of other good songs but its hard finding them.
October 17, 201114 yr Blue Skies - Noah and the Whale. What a fantastic song for autumn. Love the 'choir'-ish sound during the last few refrains. Plus, the music just makes me happy. October 18, 201114 yr A Day to Remember - The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle I always dismissed ADTR as boring metalcore/pop-punk, and they kind of are, but this song is so catchy.
