i was wonderin i made 2k nats for this quest getin theivin up to 53 but im wonderin i looked at tyhe tip it page and the spells cost over 85k for 100 of them i know i can craft nats but thats alot for 100spells. whats ur opinion

I think you should read the forum rules and respect that posts like yours are unwelcome in these forums. If you are going to spam like this, at least answer his question.

Only use the spell set when you're sure you'll get your money back (barrows, PK'ing), just stick to normal magic when you're just training combat or so.

Doing the quest is worth it simply for the ability to finish the 100th quest.

yes if u plan to do barrows and after 94 mage ice barrage makes u a leet pker

yes, their good for pking ( pked a d long just with 7 ice bursts :)) and mucking around at castlewars+pest control.

 

 

 

they also save money on barrows

dude the quest itself is worth it just to say you've done it. took me like 5 hours but i spent an hour meesing about with getting the items, also i did waste bout another hour cause i kept 4getting things and died to Damis cause of lag so if u got sum1 whod already done it, say a friend who lives near u who has done it(if you have any) to come to ure house and help then id say 3 hours. and as for the spells, using ice blitz at 82 mage is about 200k for 100 or ice burst is bout 100k for 100 which seems expensive but if u use it right you could pk some really good stuff and make more than your money back, well worth it!

does ne one have ne tips for beating them coz ive done damis and keep on getting owned by kamil and havent even tried the others yet

Ancient spells cost a lot. Aside from pvp of various sorts, and extreme examples of multi-combat (I hear pest control is good.) you won't really be using ancients to damage.

 

 

 

I dunno why anyone would say barrows for cost reasons. Prayer potions are cheaper and safer than ice spells. For speed reasons, sure, you get Canifis tele.

 

 

 

CW with them is fun. And horribly gp draining.

 

 

 

Some people will tell you to pray and mage damis. And really, that's sort of the popular belief. However, I found his prayer draining to be too much. So, I went in with rune and meleed him. Shark eating was far more productive than trying to quaff potions and still be able to hit him.

 

 

 

Also, beware Kamil. His environment may well kill you without super restores and good food.

Yes, the spells are hella-expensive, but well worth it. The HP and mage experience is ridiculously fast using ice burst at pest control. People will occasionally get annoyed with you when you attack monsters instead of the portals, but ancients do make it a lot easier to get to spinners sitting in the middle of a pack.

 

 

 

They're even more fun at castle wars, but since you don't spend all that much time maging people there, the exp isn't that great.

Anyway DT is more then worth doing.

 

here are some things to consider:

 

Only good when you're rich and ready to use it on this.

 

excellent at PKing, CW, PC (pest control), barrows.

 

Lots of fun!

 

It's also worth doing DT just for barrow gloves and ghostly armour (bad stats i know... but i like wearing it when fletching :wink: ).
