Rebdragon
First of all, I don't know if there has been a thread like this made before (didn't find anything in a search), and even if there was I don't feel like bumping a 5 month old topic, so I made this thread 8) . In my time as a Barrower I've seen a lot of Barrows inventory set ups, but I've never really known how everyone goes about actually doing the Barrows. So, in a list, what specific method do you use for Barrowing? How do you kill the Brothers? It'll be interesting to see whos in the majority and minority groups of methods :P . Well, here's my list: 1. Arrive at Barrows with enough provisions for 50+ trips (notes, 70+ Prayer Pots and 400+ Lobsters, and necessities) 2. Trade in supplies at Morr'ton General Store. 3. Kill all Brothers, counterclockwise starting at Dharok going inward to Ahrim. Use Magic Dart, and pray on all but Ahrim. 4. Go into tunnel, get a 20+Kc on Bloodworms. Kill brother (if he appears) and head to chest. 5. Open chest (kill brother if not already done), run to ladder. 6. Restore Prayer, with extra 2 points, at Nature Altar. 7. Repeat steps 2-7 until provisions run out or Inventory is too full of Barrows equipment. 8. Ecto out. Note: I'm not asking for inventory pictures, but feel free to post yours if you want to. Also, I'd like all to note in their lists Kill count (4), Spell used (or Veracs) (3), an estimate of provisions, and what you do between trips (6). Any other info is appreciated, but try to keep it down to 10 steps or less. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. spuriousmonkey
1. tele to lumby. Recharge prayer. 2. ecto. run to canifis. 3. replenish supplies in canifis (restore pot, lobs). 4. take the boat to the barrows. 5. Dharok - prayer - magic dart or fire wave 6. karil - prayer - magic dart or fire wave 7. verac - prayer - magic dart or fire wave 8. Ahrim - magic short and rune arrows. 9. take some restore if necessary. 10. Guthan - magic dart or fire wave 11. torag - magic dart or fire wave 12. go down. Kill a random selection of monsters. Kill the last brother (dharok on prayer. The rest depending on the food situation). Get my kill count up to 25. 13. Open chest. 14. teleport to lumby. rinse and repeat. Wearing: ROW, Glory Ammy, legends cape, mystic hat or warrior helmet, mystic boots, mystic top, mystic bottom, staff (slayer, air, ar lava). guthix prayer book. Inventory. Runes: water, earth, air, nats, fires, laws, minds, deaths, bloods (depends on what kind of staff I am wielding). But I do always have all the runes with me for bones to peaches. Very convenient when I run out of food on the brothers. I kill some rats or skeletons, and voila...more food. Black d hide top and bottom guthan pl8 body, dragon skirt whip, obby shield magic short, rune arrows. spade 1 prayer pot 1 restore pot rest lobbies for food. Nice and cheap. Kostya
Tele to Lletya, bank, rechange prayer. Ecto, run to canifis, take the shortcut, get to barrows. Kill Dharok, Verac and Karil with prayer + Magic Dart. Range Ahrim with whatever prayer I have left. Magic Dart Guthan and Torag, no prayer. Go into tunnel. If the brother in the tunnel is melee, i use one of the safespots. If Ahrim, I just range him, if Karil, I skip him. Get KC up to whatever, open chest. Repeat. That's how I do. Varies a little bit each run, but not much. I usually use 2 doses. Depends on who's in tunnel.
Fnaa
1. Charge prayer at the temple leading to Morytania (66 Agility FTW!) 2. Teleport to the Canafis and get the runes to do Ice Burst and Blitz, as well as laws for teleporting back to the bank. Also carry 1 or 2 pray pots just in case. 3. Kill Dharok, Karil, Ahrim while I still have prayer left from my charge. Kill Verac, Torag, Guthan using Blitz to hold and then Bursting until dead. 4. Go into tunnel, get a 24KC (sometimes just 6.) Kill brother and head to chest. 5. Teleport back to Canafis after opening the chest. 6. Walk to the temple and restore prayer. 7. Repeat. Some may say that using ancients is a waste, but it's more fun for me to do it that way. Plus the amount of rares I get out of the chest outweigh the cost of those runes. Feel free to use this sig as yours if you like the comic. :D

Kill dharok with prayer, karil with prayer, either use up remaining prayer on verac or save him for tunnel, kill torag and guthan without prayer, kill ahrim without prayer 3. Walk to barrows, start with dharok (since i have full pray) then use remainder on karil, then proceed to verac, torags, guthans, mage, and of course every run depends on whos the tunnel. 5. I usually get about 9-10 trips or more on this inventory. Sometimes 11+ if i use prayer smart, but if im lazy i just dose whenever. 6. Rebank and get more pots out of burghderot, usually i cant even do a whole inven before logging tho..

Rebdragon
Looks like most everyone teles, but I see a few campers 8). And only one other person uses the Nature Altar. IMO the Nat altar is better and faster then teleing, banking and running back, not to mention the 2 extra Prayer points (like the Prayer Guild). But I guess everyone has their own preference. Btw, all you non-prayers, does anyone think a player with 87 (almost 88, 20k more exp :D ) Magic and 74 Defense could survive not Praying on Guthan and Torag while in Barrows melee armor? Would it be a waste of lobs (I can only bring 8-9 Lobs per trip because I camp, so I'd have to restock at the store). Just wonderin'. Roglord
In my invent I have Ecto, Deaths, Minds, Spade. 14 Pray pots, 5 Sharks, Black Hide top and bottom, MSB. Guth Spear and Body. On me I have Slayer Staff, Obby Shield, Guth Skirt and Helm, God Cape etc etc. I pray for Ahrim, Take 1 dose for Dharok, if I have high Prayer left i'll kill Karil with prayer, low or none i'll get Guthan. Don't pray on Torag, use one dose on ahrim, I normally finish him with the second MSB special the exact moment Prayer runs out. Run around in tunnels... If it's a melee bro i'll try to get them on a safespot, otherwise i'll just run straight to chest. Open the chest, fight the brother, search. Curse my luck/Shout owned at my Barrows mates depending on the chest. Make my way out and repeat. I can get about 7-9 runs from that set up. Anyways, my barrows method is using the shop, and the Burghh De Rott bank to bank my barrows items/emergencies. I pray on Guthan, and Torag, but not Ahrim. Also, I use prayer pots instead of super restores. Super restores are better because they A) Restore more prayer than a prayer pot almost always and B) They restore your agility level that is drained by karil, so you can run alot more, alot faster. :D 99 Crafting Blog

Sometimes a Shade will even glide up to the gates. The bank is a little farther south of the gates. Past the broken down pub. You can start using the bank after you get to the part where you fix the bank and get the guy to be the banker.
