Hellgate: London: 12pm Thursday

Not diablo, but its going to be a lot like it.

Thanks :D

I'll serach more about it ^^

Hellgate is a sugestive name.

They were in doubt: Diablo 3 or another expansion for Diablo 2, but it would be good in both ways :P

Good news: They will put Diablo in market when E3 ends.. maybe 2 weeks later. Hope its true.

Yeah I'd love a diablo 3, but it's realy iffy if it will happen.

Hellgate london looks realy great, its going to have some large multiplayer, but most importantly the randomly generated dungeons we all fell in love with in diablo 1 and 2.

I'm looking forward mostly to the upcoming Revolution (er..wii) announcements. Supposively there is a great secret about the rev that'll be revealled still, and I can't wait to see games being played in action. Besides everythign Nintendo, I'm kind of interested in what Sony has and about Spore, although we already know a lot about that game.

Word. I just want some information about the Revolution, and Twilight Princess.

Here's some info to tide you over until...Later today I guess it is when the Nintendo press conference is:

http://www.gamespot.com/e3/e3story.html?sid=6149308&pid=932946

the Time article revealed several key pieces of information about Wii games. First, Grossman described using the Wii playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. "Now I'm Errol Flynn, sword fighting with the controller, then aiming a bow and arrow, then using it as a fishing rod, reeling in a stubborn virtual fish," he said. While Nintendo confirmed the much-anticipated GameCube title would have some Wii functionality, this is the first official description of what said functionality is.

Pure hotness right there :o

I'm really looking forward to saints row for the 360'. In Gamepro Magazine they had a great review for it and said it was the GTA killer and from the looks of it, it may just have a chance.

Peh, that's what they say about every game...

But...Get ready for this...

JADE EMPIRE GOING TO THE PC!!!!!

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6149395.html

WOAH, I wanted this game so much when it came to Xbox, and I resented my friend for coming to school each day and rubbing it in my face. Now I will have it? (I can't even believe it sold only 385 000 copies? That's rediculously low numbers for a game that was favourably reviewed by many: It scored a 9.9 on IGN, the third highest review ever, behind Soul Calibre and Ocarina of Time, a perfect 5 stars on gamespy, and a "great" 8.4 on gamespot.

I'm REALLY excited now, it was so unexpected I had almost forgot about Jade Empire...Now I'm very happy, but still can't believe how few copies it sold. Oh well, I like the cult games ;) (thought that's actually not that low of sales...)

E3 is going to be freaking amazing this year, can't wait to read about it.

Hah, me too. I wish one year I could go...

Yeah I hope some day I can go. Maybe if I do work on artwork for some game company there is a chance.... :( lol.

A friend of mine does that >.< She is at the stage where it's just not a big deal for her. One day I will manage to steal her access pass and fly over ;)

Humm, I cant wait for it :P

I wonder if Diablo 3 will have a new multiplayer interface. I'd love to see a completly new game, with more new classes, more weapons and more game options.

Oh well, Blizzard gave a note: Their focus is for a new expansion for WoW, "The Burning Crusade", and this is one of the reasons thay havent finished Diablo... Ahhhh.

And in the news there was something like: They didnt finished yet because they need a new Graphical/Game Desinger for the game, or something like it. See the announcement from Blizzard here (regarding jobs).

Warning: crazed lunacy below.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. All the info you ever wanted for PS3 is RIGHT HERE:

PRICE DETAILS:

It will be available in two versions: one with a 60GB hard drive, and one with 20GB. It will launch in the US on November 17 for $499 ($549 CDN) for the 20GB version and $599 ($659 CDN) for the 60GB one. The machine will launch in Japan on November 11 with the 20GB version fetching 59,800 yen, and the 60GB one bearing an "open price," which means retailers will set the price themselves. Europe and Australia will also get the mahcine on November 17, with the 20GB version running for 499 euros, and the 60GB configuration going for 599 euros.

NEW CONTROLLER:

Ken Kutaragi takes the stage, and asks the crowd if they enjoyed the latest progress on Ps3 titles, which is met with some applause and cheers. Kutaragi then promises "one more big thing we have kept secret." He talks about the controller of the 1994 PlayStation controller's debut. He promises to enhance controllability to the next tier for the next generation. He then holds up the final PS3 controller. It's a silver DualShock with a little black button in the middle with the classic PlayStation logo. He asks Harrison to demonstrate what the controller can do. A demo trailer shows a crate, hopping around of its own accord. It breaks open and the PS3 controller is inside. He lifts the controller up, and the controller on the screen lifts up. With no external sensor required, he can move the controller in six degrees of movement.

6:36: Harrison notes that the Bluetooth-capable, wireless controller will be lighter than the PS2's normal controller, and calls it "a fantastic innovation." Harrison says Incognito's Warhawk will make use of the motion-sensing capabilities, then asks Incognito's Dylan Jobe to demonstrate. He controls the game's fighter using the PS3 controller as a proxy, tilting the controller to gain altitude, bank, perform barrel rolls and other actions.

All info can be found here, including info on FF13 and a load of other Playstation games (they said something like there's going to be over 200 more PS2 titles coming before the end of the year...I'm not sure where I read that.)

Some other cool things: A guy was playing an F1 game and using a PSP as his rear view mirror. And PSP and PS3 are gonna work well together...And they are emulating a lot of old Playstation games for buying/downloading/playing off of memory sticks for the PSP...He played Ridge Racer in the conference.

Hah! Nintendo should have kept thier controller under wraps a little while longer.

As always, Sony feeds off of Nintendo again.

Preaty funny that sony took that idea from nintendo, but they may have it better done...

I'll have to see. The price still scares me on it, but it's going to have some great titles.

So how do you guys think about the PS3's price? It's going to be $500 with a 20gb hard drive and $600 with a 60gb hard drive.

I think this is way too much for a game console. $100 for only 40gbs more of space is totaly a rip off.

All the features this thing has is amazing. I realy like the PSP compatibilty. To bad the rumor of the PS3 having a Location Free player are false.

The graphics and some of these games look to good to be true. The game by Naughty Dog was breath taking. Unfortanatly, I don't have a HDTV to be able to use a console like this, yet.

i like their revolutionary controller design. they took a psx/ps2 controller, added a usb port, took the big middle button idea from xbox 360, and then took the motion sensing idea from revolution. i like the price even better. $600 guarantees that i am going to get an awesome system, much better than a $400 360 or a $200 wii, and i dont have to worry about playing it on a hdtv because it doesnt have hdtv outputs.

\sarcasm, obviously.

\\definently not buying ps3, cant wait for the wii to come out.

For all the people hating the PS3 controller... Why?

Xbox 360 now has 4 shoulder buttons, who did that first? Sony.

Xbox and Xbox 360 has TWO analog sticks, who did that first? Sony.

If it isn't broken, why fix it? They just took an already excellent controller and added some extra features, what is so wrong with that? I personally love it. If the design worked for both PS1 and PS2, it will be perfect for PS3, especially since it will be backward compatible for all Playstation (1 and 2) games.

As for the pricing though.. I hope the 60GB Package has more than just 40 extra GB.. That would be a complete Rip-off.

In a year or two I'll probably end up owning all 3 consoles, but the first one I will buy is the Wii, then PS3.

This is strange; this is the first thread where people haven̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t been calling the Sony conference "the worst ever." Much like everyone else I was disappointed with the software line up with only Metal Gear Solid 4 and Lair looking amazing. To top it off Sony introduces two SKU's and cripples HD movie support by not having a HDMI connection in the 20gig version; ohh yeah 600 dollars/euros is going to put it out of the mainstreams reach for a while (the PS2 is successful for its low price and wide range of cheap games, not true for the PS3).

As always, Sony feeds off of Nintendo again.

Preaty funny that sony took that idea from nintendo, but they may have it better done...

Actually they took the idea from Microsoft, not Nintendo; the Technology is the same in the 8+ year old sidewinder pro (Microsoft considered using it in the 360 controller but decided against it).

For all the people hating the PS3 controller... Why?

It still has it's rigid design and lacks any ergonomical improvement, the controller just doesn't grip as well as it should (the 360's grip and button placement is much better); it lacks any real improvement (the tilt sensors only have a few specific uses in games). If anything it's gone back a little with the removal of force feedback. To me it has nothing to do with ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åstealing̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

People value innovation.

As for Xbox "copying" Sony, you're right, but Microsoft is just as unoriginal as Sony, if not more.
