Well, thanks for narrowing it down. When the Earth blows up, I don't think worrying about what caused it would be my biggest concern :P. Haha, you got that right :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Otherwise, Bam Margera could run for President and have a decent chance. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Like I care, but if people don't like him, why did some select him for president? But I know nothing of America or its politics so meh. And neither am I bored enough to actually research into the exact percentages just to prove someone wrong on a thread where I stated I know nothing of it's politics, actually admitting I'm probably wrong but meh, whatever floats ya boat. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." redserpent4
whether or not the mayan calculation is real, or nostradamus was correct in predicting it to be in about 3000 years from now or whatever, there is absolutely nothing we could do about it. in my opinion humans as a species will be lucky to ride out the next two centuries. Similarly, if we take a look at certain aspects of the world at the moment, such as the volcano under yellowstone, or the imminent collapse of the gulf stream which will bring about a new ice age it seems fairly obvious to me that we, as a species are pretty screwed. Have you read anything from Nostradamus? Most of his texts are written in away that they basically must go right, in a way or another. It's so symbolistic that you just need to look at it after a random event (hockey match, historical event, etc) and it looks like he had predicted it. People thought the world will end on 12/31/1999, my parent purchaced Y2K proof car jumpercables. All you needed to do was use it on your car and it would instantly be cured of the Y2K bug  . A few years ago like 3 planets aligned and a guy cost hundreds of people thousands of dollars. knives669
My parents said they were never really scared about Y2K, but then, on like Dec. 31, 1999, they went CRAZY. Shopping for tons of food, buying gas and bottled water. Wal-Mart was insanely crowded. But, I don't think the world is going to end on 6/6/06. I don't think it will ever end in my lifetime. And hey, if it does... I've lived a good life. No regrets. :D

Where the heck do you get your information from? Surely not the Bible. Matthew 24 Signs of the End of the Age 1Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2"Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." 3As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" 4Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,[a]' and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15"So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢â∠My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Astralinre
Well, you know what they say: "Don't worry about the world ending today; it's already tomorrow in Australia." :P I have no idea when the world as we know it will end. Some asteroid could be heading straight for earth, bird flu could become a pandemic any day, another ice age could hit, Christ could return - how are we to know when anything of this could happen? Do I believe that we are living in the last days? Certainly. For all I know, this is the last day of my life. My heart could stop while I sleep, I could have a wreck while driving to school in the morning, the New Madrid Fault could snap, causing an earthquake that would bring my house down on top of me. My world could end at any moment, so I think it's best to live as if it is going to. Why not help somebody out? Why not put your heart and soul into everything you do? Why not enjoy life? For all you know, it's your last chance to do so before the end of the world. "In so far as I am Man I am the chief of creatures. In so far as I am a man I am the chief of sinners." - G.K.
