Sony has said that there going to make two plans like the xbox 360. The cheaper one has a 20gb harddriver and is $499. and a 60gb PS3 which cost $599. So which one do you plan to get the 20gb or a 60gb.

My support is behind PS3, but I'm a PC gamer and intend to stay that way, atleast unless they choose not to put next-gen GTA on PC. If not, I'll have a lot of thinking to do between either 360 or PS3. IF (and that's a gigantic IF,) then I would definately get the better one. What's 100 bucks, when the entire time you're playing, you'll be thinking, "someone is playing this exact same game, but on a better machine that I very well could have gotten." That would destroy me.

I personly am going to get the rest of the next gen systems. Because all the fun ill have with the Wii and the PS3 will be well worth the money just like my 360.

The full version would be around $700 here so no, I'm not choosing anything. Too expensive for my taste, and even if someone's gonna give it to me for free, I'd tell them to replace it. $700 without any games whatsoever would be too much.

I am sticking with the Wii only. It's packed full of awesome features and FUN and UNIQUE gameplay, comes in one model/price, and still winds up being cheaper than the other two.

 

 

 

Graphics be darned, I fun fun and innovation. I am sick of just mashing buttons. Not to mention, I could have some fun with my dad.

I think the price tag might cut away a lot of casual gamers, at least a ton of my friends who all own ps2's won't likely buy this I already know. I think it depends on how useful the extra space is - if it's really needed/useful or not (if I were to actually buy one).

My plans are to get Wii, and wait untill PS3 prices go down, and Xbox 360... I want it, but its in the last place of my list.

I'm personally only going to get the Revo, since I'm really not as much into gaming as I used to be :P

Im gonne get the Wii, it's cheaper then the others and I love the fact that I can play older Snes games on it :D

Going for the wii, if I have enough money. Sounds like the ps3 controller is trying to copy nintendo's idea.

They try and justify the price with the fact that it will play Blu-Ray, citing that Blu-Ray players cost much more. However, as with any new technology, that is just the price when it is brand spanking new and one which only early-adopters will pay. Within months Blu-Ray stuff will have dropped in price drastically and you will have payed far over the odds. That's if it isn't a complete flop, which I hope it will be.

I'm going for the Wii, for the same reasons as Barihawk. I'm not much of a gamer, but this is just one thing I MUST have. :D Those PS3's are so expensive. :shock:

meh, just going to get the 20gb one. theres no use for 60gb on a game console. and it IS a bit too expensive, im going to wait for it to drop some

ill be deffinately getting a ps3 when they come out probs the 60gb version but it depends how the memory gets used up whether or not the 20gb will be worth it

Well, I got a quote off my resident wholesaler who expects to sell 60Gb units for $450, so I'm gonna get myself 10 of them, sell 9 and keep one for myself. If I do do this, I'll let you know of my eBay auctions for the rest of them! I'll probably do the 60GB for $500-$540, so I'd like tip.it to get them over some random people. :P
