May 15, 200620 yr well i put some thought into it and if there was no high alc the only gold you could get is through monster drops.Even the highest lvl monster doesnt drop much and think about it theres billions and billions of gp out there and almost all of that came from high alcing...i mean sure you can pick up small amounts of gp off the ground from monster drops selling things to the general store and doing barrows but that isnt very much. so what do you think runescape would be like with no high alcing...i think prices on armors rares and everything would be way lower although ppl would have way less money. So what do you think runescape would be like without high alc? Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
May 15, 200620 yr Without High Alc, people would use the bandit's general store in the wilderness. RSN: Mutashi
May 15, 200620 yr If there wasn't High alching, maybe the economy wouldn't be about to blow up in our faces? (If you don't know what inflation is, don't bother replying to my post) [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
May 15, 200620 yr Hmm.... also, without high alch, people wouldn't be buying yew longs in large amounts. The yew market wouldn't have the demand it currently has. Nats wouldn't have as high a demand either, but still enough to fill the needs of those bones to peaches and snaring spells. Bow string and flax market wouldn't have as high a demand either. And you'd have a lot more general stores filling up quickly. Just my guess.
May 15, 200620 yr Author wat do u mean only monster drops there are tons of ways wow ok let me break it down for you...sure you can have skills like wcing to cut yews to sell buuut without cash how would ppl pay you... Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
May 15, 200620 yr wat do u mean only monster drops there are tons of ways wow ok let me break it down for you...sure you can have skills like wcing to cut yews to sell buuut without cash how would ppl pay you... Ugh there are more ways then just monster drops. Some stores buy everything by the high alch price. people would use the bandit's general store in the wilderness That is one of some stores that buy at high alch. There would just be alot of stuff in those stores. So you can just sell you stuff there and still get the high alch price and plus it would go much faster. With out high alch, getting rich with that way would be harder but not obsulete (sp). It would be a different market but not a destroyed market. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
May 15, 200620 yr The price the stores buy at goes down as stocks go up. So you wouldn't be getting anywhere near the high alch price, because stores would still all be full of stuff like plates and bows. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
May 15, 200620 yr Low Alch would become big? I think a high demand item such as raw material would take over currency in a trading aspect. However, items such as cannons would be a lot harder to obtain due to the need of cash to buy it. General Stores only buy ONE item at High Alch value when there is none in stock. It would take forever to sell an item one at a time...
May 15, 200620 yr Nothing really. Everything would just be really cheap, well not cheap since no one really has a lot of money. Like lobs would be 25 each. Dragon Chain would be like 3m I don't know stuff like. (Prices are probably off, but just an example.)
May 15, 200620 yr the prices of everything would be a lot lower... ppl would still sell their finish products to specialty stores.
May 15, 200620 yr Author the prices of everything would be a lot lower... ppl would still sell their finish products to specialty stores. if everyone did that...people would camp out at general stores...like literally itd be a mess. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
May 15, 200620 yr i would absolutely love that runescape. mercahnting obsolete (sp?), rares won't be skyrocketing, people who has skills will be rich as hell, because they coudl do what they want to. it would be heaven. pking will be profitable once again (i'm not pker). mage will be hard skill to obtain because alching so far is cheapest and easiest way to get mage exp. could we bring that back? :) 1500+ total 89 cmb; 1600+ total and under 93 cmb. 02/04/07 reached all skills 60+ under lvl 90 cmb. 07/19/07 reached all skills 70+ at lvl 93 cmb.Prayer is good for herbs
May 15, 200620 yr Wait a second, the bandit store in the wild buys your stuff at high-alch price? Not just the first one, but every one?!?!?!
May 15, 200620 yr I don't even want to think about it!! How would you train magic, it would be more expensive than prayer, lol, not possible. Anyway, there's actually no point in thinking about it. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... GWD: 0...ouch!Main Goal: 2000 total with no 99's
May 15, 200620 yr About coin drops not contributing much: It pays to pick up coins drops. During each slayer task I collect 10-30k. It adds up.
May 15, 200620 yr what do you think runescape would be like without high alc? Better. Spam. If there was no high alch, we'd play Pest Control to get all our money. 99 Crafting Blog
May 15, 200620 yr without hi alch id sell my training goods to the general store for less cash. everything else would be the same i guess. to me it wouldnt make the game much different. then again theres always low alch Are you a member with a full bank and cancelling your subscription? Are you an F2P player that wants more bank space? Check out my guide on Going to F2P with a full bank
May 16, 200620 yr well i put some thought into it and if there was no high alc the only gold you could get is through monster drops.Even the highest lvl monster doesnt drop much and think about it theres billions and billions of gp out there and almost all of that came from high alcing...i mean sure you can pick up small amounts of gp off the ground from monster drops selling things to the general store and doing barrows but that isnt very much. so what do you think runescape would be like with no high alcing...i think prices on armors rares and everything would be way lower although ppl would have way less money. So what do you think runescape would be like without high alc? are you serious.... i get more gp per hour killing kq, or merchanting then alching, how can you say the economy would fall. heh. theres billions of ways 2 make money/.. just not through fletching anymore! no big deal rsn: dragon x boy 137+ combat 500+ mil gp
May 16, 200620 yr are you serious.... i get more gp per hour killing kq, or merchanting then alching, how can you say the economy would fall. heh. theres billions of ways 2 make money/.. just not through fletching anymore! no big deal You do not generate Gp by having a Dragon Drop at the KQ. Without Gp in the economy you cannot sell the Dragon drop. Same for merchanting. It's seems a minor detail, but it isn't.
May 16, 200620 yr why isnt anyone talking about the mage lvls, high alching is one of the most used way to get mage up I was once at the airport with my friends in California, had to go "potty" really bad, and just pissed my pants in the middle of the terminal. (All the cool kids piss in their pants, right?)barrows loot: lost countdaga king loot: lost count :p
May 16, 200620 yr You would see a item based economy such as the one that Diablo2 and D2X had where gold had no value and items were based apon the rarest and best items. The self-proclaimed king of bronze.
