Once a friend....now an enemy

NOTE: I know most of this is my fault so please dont flame or anything.... and this is kinda long post....

 

 

 

ok, i logged in runescape one day and I was in varrock. I had all my stuff on me: Full rune, power ammy, 415k and a rune pick. So my RS friend came along who I had known since like lvl 20 - 30, he asked me if i wanted 10mil. I said sure! why not?

 

 

 

Ok, i didnt really notice I had all my stuff on me. BTW: me friend was about lvl 50

 

 

 

So without realising I had all my good stuff with me, I follwoed my friend. To prove that he woudnt try kill me or anything, he showed me the 10mil and 27 bones. So that took up his inventory and he had nothing equiped.

 

 

 

SO he took me into the wilderness. We came along like a lvl 40 who he told me to kill. I killed him, and of course got a skull.

 

 

 

Anyway, I followed him into about lvl 40+ wilderness. He kept on logging out, and when he logged back in, he said that his internet was stuffing up.

 

he did that abotu 5 times, until we got till about lvl 45 wilderness near the greaters and he logged out.

 

 

 

I though, oh yeah, his internet has probably just froze again. But then like a lvl 90 something logged in, cast a spell which fogot that made me unable to move and killed me in like 4 hits.

 

 

 

Back in lumbridge. I have abosloutly nothing.

 

Then my so called 'friend' logged onto his other account with the 10mil and said:

 

 

 

"Haha! u fell for my trick. That lvl 40 you attacked was my other guy. I purposely made you get a skull and now Im 600k richer!!!"

 

 

 

Well, the message went something like that.

 

Now Ive reported him but I still havent got a message from Jagex.

 

Yes, you other guys out there may be thinking 'Its only full rune and 400k'. Well it may not seem alot to you but it is to me, i only started in november last year and I did alot of work to get to where i am today.

 

 

 

I guess Im gonig to have to sell the rune b-axe and mine coal like thers no tommorow. Or i can go chop yews, but considering all the macroes out there, that wont be likely.

 

 

 

So, ill see you all in the mining guild, world 7 or 8. My RSN is 9dead9dude9

 

 

 

Just peace out. And try not the stupid mistake I did or try pull of the jackass scam that my once true RS friend pulled off.

That's really sad. ANyway, why would a guy with 10 mil need 600k more? I'm real sorry for you. ANd, If it's too doog to be true, take extra caution... or just run away... I prefer... running away. It's much more safer.... in Runescape.

Dude, sorry for your loss of 600k , but I feel mor sorry for you that u lost a freind. Well i guess your better off having no friends than bad ones. All i can say is that i hope u learned your lesson of trusting no one on runescape.

 

A question, why on earth would u carry 400k around?

I think its really sad that people lure at all, based on trust. I do wonder why you took everything you had to lvl 45 wild though....you probably have at least some wildy experience. I remember getting lured when I was much lower, lost all my money too, but I'd never been to the wild before. 600k is a huge amount for you, barely anything for him, makes it even more sad. Well hopefully you can pick yourself up from it and come out better. After a while you will have been through every scam and you'll never fall for anything again, like me.

And the reason why I was carrying 400k around was because I just got back form fally selling steel bars. I just had all my money so I knew how much I had. Never bothered to put it back in the bank.

thats really tough. Good luck with getting your money back. At least it is good wildy experience for you - you'll be much more careful next time. Just remember to check that you are carrying no more than 3 items next time that you go in.

Why would anyone go into the wilderness with cash money on him? Yeah well sorry for asking, it's just something to keep in mind, friend or not, there's no reason to bring cash in the wilderness. Anything can happen there.

When i first started playing rs i was asked in drayner bank if i wanted some really good armour so of course i said yes. I had hardly anything, exactly nothing of value and still getting used to the game. Theres a word for it...oh yeah...Noob and/or newb. Well this guy takes me to draynor manor and tells me to go down the staircase to the cellar, obviously the vampire jumped out and attacked so i did what every person does when in this situation...I RAN LIKE ALL HELL WAS CHASING ME!!!!! Thankfully i got away.

 

What i am saying is everyone goes through something similar but yours is worse because it was someone you thought you knew and trusted and you lost a lot of items with me it was just a lesson that only cost me a little pride. :cry:

so i followed that guy into wilderness... he was a lvl 60, so we go deeper into wildy and...... meet a clan of pkers.... they attacked him: and he dies.. they couldn't attack me bacause of the lvl difference......

Personally, perhaps i'm not a very nice person. But if i was in level 40 wilderness with a friend 20 combats lower than me i hadn't seen for ages, who just happened to have 10 Mil and 27 bones in his invent. I sure know what i'd do. :wink:

 

 

 

Maybe I wouldn't have escaped his 90, but I'd definately give him a run for his money. :D

I was once scammed and it nearly made me quit the game. The important thing is that u train ur hardest and beat that lvl 90.
