So, I wanted to make a list with all the new plank and rare wood chopping locations! Here's my start, I'll add more locations (and credit) as we get more information.

I just though I would say that the plank respawns on Ape Atoll aren't new. They were there for a while.

Theres one teak tree southwest of Castle Wars in the corner of that land

the teaks are in the most south-eastern part of Uzer you can get, too bad theres only one tree :evil:

Also can be found in the Kharazi Jungle,on Ape Atoll, near Uzer, south of Castle Wars, & once you have completed the Royal Trouble quest, you can use these trees as a resource on Miscellania.

 

 

 

I want to check if mahogonies are actually also in all of these, though. And we're still looking for planks :wink:

not new, but there are planks at graveyard in level 20-ish wild.

There is a teak tree just to the east of Uzer. I went there myself :P

The tip.it woodcutting guide is right, there are two teak trees in the Kharazi jungle (accessible only after starting Legends quest). They are in the South part, a little to the East from the entrance just South of Shilo Village (I don't know how to explain it better). Maybe there are mahoganies in that jungle as well, but I didn't look very well.

There's only one Teak tree there and you have to go just a tiny bit south then go wayyyyyyy west. You have to go literally as far west as the ground will let you. Then you'll see the only lonely Teak tree there with about 5 people competeing for the tree.

You may think that however I use this method instead of say the popular area southwest of Cw and I get a full hand almost 2x faster. Just wear desert robes, bring 1 waterskin, some cash, and you off, btw use the magic carpet to Uzer.

 

 

 

EDIT : I get it 2x faster cause its same travel speed as Cw & theres generally nobody there.

I can verify that there is one mahagony tree on the Ape Atoll...it's north of the teak trees, just before the path that leads to the gate of the city.

 

 

 

There are also two plank spawns in Port Khazard near one of the general stores...I'm fairly certain they're new as I don't recall seeing them there last weekend. :wink:
