A computer can't do anything random, it's impossible. While the odds on something may be 1/512 doesn't mean that after 512 you will get one, the chance is always 1/512, and nothing can effect that (Other than ROW) You're just as likely to get the head on the 1st kill as you are the 13658th kill.

Wasn't really an insult, it was as much an insult as you saying that putting odds on a drop was ridiculous. And you never said that in your post, youn said it was RANDOM, which is impossible, the odds from the KQ and KBD are obviously going to be lower, it's pretty obvious. It's just that they take much longer to kill that it seems like the chances are low. There are odds, and I believe what I suggested they were is pretty accurate, maybe a few of them are off but IMO they all seem practical.

However, the scales must be balanced somehow since some people are still selling 12 whips at a time in forums. Head drops? To quote Tony Soprano.. "fuhgettaboutit." After all, I'm a guy who killed over 3200 metal dragons and never got a dragon leg drop. :roll:

June 11, 200620 yr Nearly 500 bass and probably just as many (if not more) of the other things you get from big net fishing, still no trophy. Although on the plus side, I've gotten a fishing level. And all this bass will be great for training with. Ah well, I'd better just keep at it. The odds of 1 in 500 or so really like to elude me. :(

June 12, 200620 yr I only got 85 slayer about a week ago. I had killed fewer than 40 abyssal demons before I got a head drop. I had 40 construction at the time. Guess I may be lucky, but right now it's just hoggin' a bank space. :P

That's based on what people have been saying, and to me, those odds look correct. KQ Head, about the same rarity was Dragon Chain. KBD Head, About the same rarity as Med. Shark - Hard to catch anyway, so 1/256 is about right. 1/512 for Swordfish/Bass seems accurate. The slayer monsters are about 5-7x as rare as that monsters "rare" drop. (Whip, Mystic Top, Mystic boots, Mystic hat and uhh Nothing :P But...Crawling hands are just hands...They dont have heads, do they? :shock:
