Jimmyd17 Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 Personally, I hate (With a strong passion :evil: ) all the topics about how p2p is getting "worse and worse" I believe that runescape is just fine. In my experience, rs hasn't got any worse since I started playing it in '02. There were always scamming, spamming, immature noobs trying to steal their way to the top. Only difference is that in rsc we didn't complain about them! I like coming to tip.it to read the success stories and thoughtful discussion's, not people whining about every little scammer they run across. Because I hate seeing complaints so much, I thought I'd post a RAoH (random Act of Humour) to show the light side of p2p, away from the complainers (BTW, I do relize I'm being a little hypocritical by complaining about complainers.) away from the scammers away from the spammers. Why can't people have fun like the people in the picture? Why must you burden yourself even more by complaining about them? I consider this a Random Act of Humour as it was so fricken random! It is a group of six or seven girls jumping all around runescape having some good old fun. They surrounded me and starting dancing and mocking me. It was quite funny :lol: .My personal idols for the night 8-) Please take what I've written into thought. I tired of seeing all the countless complaints on this forum. Why must you burden yourself? It's what I do everyday in RS, people always ask me why I'm such a low level for having played since RSC. I say: I like going around talking to people, making new friends and whatnot. Not just training. When they left me, they went to the fishing guild and then off to castle wars. I hope it's because i'm tired, but I don't see anything remotly funny about that.. Everyday I come on this site I see people complaining about something new. It aggrevates me to no end! I forget who said it, it may have been Adam007 or hohto, but he said something to the effect of, "Nothing is really different from rsc to rs2. The only difference is how people have over glorified the "good ol'days" it was so long ago that people don't recall exactly what it was like and therefore often exaggerate what the community was back then." Now, from what I've experienced, rs2 and rsc are so much alike it's kinda funny. Both of them had there fair share of scammers/hackers/general noobs, only difference is that rsc had less people, therefore you encountered them less often. With the millions of people that play now, the percentage of noobs is pretty close to what it was. I ask all of the people that are posting about "OMG noobs everywhere" to think back, way back and very hard. I'm sure you all will relize how similar rsc is to rs2 (community wise). Last little bit. I decided to bump this even though I don't like bumping, because I don't feel enough people read what I wrote and I feel that this is very neccesary to read because it's a simple reminder to simmer down and focus on having fun, not burdening yourself with always thinking poorly of rs and its community. So one of the PMods starts doing the rasberry emote to me for about a minute, then he went back to his fletching. So I stood behind him and started doing the angry emote at him saying I was smacking him in the back of the head. Then he said: "Oh yeah? Well....I got a secret weapon here!!! Haha!!!" - (He brought out a rubber chicken) So I ran all the way down the range guild with him chasing me and probably about 20 people in cammy bank saying either "lol, rofl, or 'Get him _____!'" White Power would be a stupid thing to say, lets not even discuss it. By fun, I mean good hearted, get your jollies fun, not some twisted joke that leaves others mad. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
