Wow.. I still can't believe it myself..

 

 

 

I spent some time getting 2k tokens by killing my rune set over and over again.. When I finally got it, I grabbed some pots from the bank and went to the top floor to get those defenders..

 

 

 

 

 

It took me almost 600 tokens to get just bronze. Then a few minutes after I got iron. A few kills after that I got steel. Another few later a black shows up on the ground. Then, you guessed it! A mith one a few kills later. After that came addy within a couple kills.

 

 

 

At this point, I thought, "Whoa, that was lucky.. guess I'll have to wait a while for rune now.."

 

 

 

Boy was I wrong.. no later than 5 minutes I kill that Cyclops with the rune defender in it :)

 

 

 

I pmed everyone randomly on my friends list and was feeling pretty happy. I still had 820 tokens left though so I was gonna go bank and everything after I killed this one Cyclops that was attacking me. I kill it and behold, a rune defender!

 

I pmed everyone yet again and yeah, I admit it, I was even happier.

 

 

 

So I exit the doors and show it to Kamfreena or whoever and decide, what the heck, I have guthans and I can just alch anything worth alching. Who needs to bank? So I enter through the doors again and click on any old Cyclops. A few hits later, big bones and... a rune defender! At this point, I just couldn't believe it and logged off. Lol.

I was starting to wonder if rune defenders aren't so *rare*..

:D It was paulino and his encouragement that kept me going.. well I would have anyways but at least I didn't get bored as fast :)

EDIT: In addition to being able to just go grab another one from the bank instead of having to get tokens and try and get another one again, it makes you even more 1337 than you are now.

Well if you have more than one and you loose one you don't have to go back and get it again! :P

Rune is very easy to get once you have rune. I got 2 other rune in like 10 cyclops aswell.

Where you wearing row?

i was with ya over there on server 9 gratz

Took me 2k tokens to get my rune.

 

 

 

A guy that was there with me went from bronze-rune in the time that it took me to go from mith-rune. Shortly after he got a clue scroll.

For me, it was 950 tokens for Bronze, 2460 in total to get Rune. Not the worst luck, but I'd rather have yours. :P

Wow it only took me 350 to get bronze then i used anther 300 and still havent gotten iron =p
