ok i think you all got to hold on here, i dont see the point in fighting or squabling over a man's death. right he was a legend, on runescape. i dont really think its fair to say that yeh he was just some guy who had no life and played runscape all day. that i think is 100% untrue. he was not some sad little geek who has no life!! the reason he is on the high scores at like number 3, is cos he was DTERMAINED AND DISCIPLINED. i dont think that there is anything wrong with that. obviously yes its all just a game, but u cant in no way shape or form take away from him that he was a determained, disciplined, great guy.

 

and i personally will come and slap you if you think that he in some geek who sits at a computer all day, i knew him over runescape, just like metallica. so please dont bother saying stuff in vein of that great man.

 

 

 

3 questions : 1. how old was he when he passed away?

 

2. what caused this horrid event?

 

3. what is no going to happen to that great account

 

 

 

if any of these questions are too personal, please people dont bother flaming me, i do understand, and there is NO need at all for anyone to even consider answering those questions. they are just simply there in my mind, as i am sure they are in many other peoples.

 

 

 

but anyway, thanks to him for being a great friend, and my sympothy goes out to each and everyone of his family and friends.

you make a fair point, he was surely very determined. you also make the fair point that it is indeed just a game. i'm not trying to diminish him in any way, he surely was, like i stated previously, a dedicated gamer. but i think all this is needless. infact, i believe it to be a dishonour that you people are going to all this fuss simply because he was in the top 5 on runescape. don't try to deny it, because if a popular and friendly noob died this wouldn't be happening.

I once saw him farming, a trail of players following him.

 

I told everyone following and annoying him "He doesn't appreciate you people annoying him incessantly like that, please leave him alone."

 

And The Old Nite said "Thank you." to me.

 

I have seen him once at the Duel Arena aswell, although he appeared not to recognize me.

 

I did however see the way he treated everyone like a gentleman.

 

I was amazed how he kept his temper while all those people followed him in the Dueling Arena like moths to a lightbulb.

 

In my opinion, his manners far exceed Zezima and all the other famous players.

first of all i have got to i hope his family is ok first. i feel 4 them most. their the ones in so much pain. i no ive been their. n not to long ago.

 

 

 

the man was determined i saw that in high scores from day to day.week after week.we all do it.or u wouldnt be paying membership.in my opinion he was top man. always said hi if u spoke.would say excuse me 1 sec if was busy.but he spoke when he could.n flame he did not.could any of us say they done that.how many peeps call peeps noobs. i never heard any 1 say he called them a noob.

 

 

 

i would like jadex to block his name so no 1 can re use it, if the acc is deleted... respect.

 

i spent the hole day walking round in black when i heard... was fishing at cathbuy at the time. and went and changed.i put sword n armor away.

 

so comon people let give the man descent sending off.

I met the old nite while i was fishing (My story is like galgoth's story). He had a trail of people following him, bothering him, and asking him for money and items. I told them "He does not want to be bothered and he does not give away free items. So please leave him alone." They all left and he said " Thank you very much they have been following me all day lol :)." We then became good friends we went to the duel arena together, and we did a lot of other fun things (except Castle Wars because he never went to it and never wanted to) . When i heard he had passed i became very sad. I will remember his kindness as he had given me a dragon medium helmet for my birthday. I will cherish that helmet as long as i play runescape.

Lol, i remeber when i met him AGES ago when i was like level 70, and he was level 123 lol, i said hi, asuming he wouldn't reply, and he said hello, how are you, and we started talking :D

 

 

 

He was the nicest guy on RuneScape, always helped out, always kind, anything you needed help with, he would do his best to help

Oh my god, I'm shocked.

 

I heared people saying "The old nite has died", I thought they are just stupid, say that just because he wasn't online since the Construction skill had realesed...

 

Just today I told a friend that those people are stupid and The Old Nite probably flew to another country (It's summer vacation here), or just decided to take a break for some short time off RuneScape..

 

my friend said "Why would a person with 99 in everything quit?"

 

I still didn't beileve, maybe didn't want to believe...

 

 

 

I would never understand how these stuff just happen. He was a father, he had a long way to live. I don't get it, it's just so sad :cry:

I'm going to be honest. I honestly almost cried when I read that article. I didn't even know The Old Nite(I knew who he was, but never met him), but the story was just so sad. It's so tragic.

Well, I for one was shocked when I read this article. I usually just look through articles and then actually read them if I find them interesting. As soon as I browsed it, I was shocked. I read the article about 5 times before I actually took it all in. I personally did not know The Old Nite, but he sounded like a great man.

 

Rest in peace Old Nite, rest in peace indeed.

 

I almost actually cried while read this aswell, and I didn't even know the guy. He sounded like a great man, and I have yet to meet a person as kind as this.
