Point is, has anyone REALLY tried starting over? I've always had some friend give me at least 50k when I start a new account, but starting with nothing, the way I started out on my very first account, without the wonders of where am I;? and what does this button do;? Is really just... HELL. I mean I know i enjoy this game so don't tell, "than quit rs u no lfering n00b" because i'm not quitting. I know I had recently achieved 80 ranged, one of my goals ive had since I started playing, just to have it taken away, which i really don't understand why I always get hacked right after something good happens., :roll: .

 

 

 

The acual point of this post is, has anyone really started over? Reduced to killing chickens and mining coal like the rest the 'newbs' that call Lumbridge and Varrock home?

This isn't totally starting over but evry gp I've ever made has been scammed,hacked,pked of off me which equals to 40 mil+ and every day when Im rcing slowly raising my lvls going for that coveted 91 RC i tell myself there will be better times.

Atm i'm reduced to killing cows to train attack and strenght. Prolly gunna make it a pure with high fishing/cooking/mining for money. Get 70 str 75 ranged maybe, no more p2p for me either.

my lvl 93 account got hacked. i started over and im doing quite well

Try making an ownadge staker.

 

70 Attack - 50 Strength - 70 Defence

 

 

 

That's by far the best way to start off from new and in no time you'll be much richer then before.

Well, I only did this once when my account was locked, I started my str noob and just started killing goblins. I gained like 3 levels until I got my main back again, but stuck to training my pure, because it was kind of fun.

Well I made a "Pure" for the sake of I was bored of Rune Essence mining. It was fun getting levels like crazy just fighting Goblins and Chickens. I mined, I smithed, I fished, all of this to make myself somewhat independent. I basically stopped working on that account and now I consider it a backup in case I ever get banned (Just FYI 0 Black Marks or any reports against me. I don't think I'll be needing that extra account anytime soon :P ).

 

 

 

But starting over is intriguing for the first couple of days when you're gaining levels really fast and you are moving quickly, but eventually you'll realize that you could be fighting the Kalphite Queen or the King Black Dragon in hopes of making another million instead of scrounging every single coin you find laying on the floor.

It's imposible to start over. Just like you can't forget how to ride by bike! (Or with? :$) You already know how to make cash, train etc. :/

Nope, and I never will. But I remember when I was a noob, I think i was the noobiest of them all back in rsc. I didn't know what a rare was although I saved up my entire rsc career to buy a red mask for 500k (my life saving) the very day before rs2 came out (even then I didn't know what a rare was or the price changes occuring with them, I just thought they looked awesome and i wanted one :lol:" . I didn't know about holiday drops or what they were therefore I missed the scythe drop. I didn't even know jagex updated the game so i never read the main page, just sorta skipped right over it. I was also f2p. I didn't join members until rs2. I lost my ful rune tons of times in the wild and the only way i knew to make money was to sell raw lobs to the general store on karamja.

i had to once. some one hacked me. but that was back when i was only at lvl 50 or something so it wasnt that bad. but getting money when your a noob is easy. mine. you can have any lvl combat and its easy. i just mined and when i was at lvl 11 i was walking around in full black (g).

:lol: I learned all my knowledge when rs2 came along, although I did reach some nice achievements for f2p rsc with knowing as little as I did. I got into all the f2p guilds and reached mith smithing which was a really nice thing in rsc.

:-k Do you consider logging off of one account and then logging into another Multiple logging? How did you even take it that way? When your mine over 20,000 Rune Essence it gets pretty dull so I have to do something for a break, I can't PK worth beans on my main account so I created another one. How in the world did you take it as breaking a rule? I wasn't even transfering items between the accounts. So confused now.

i find when u start over the money is fine for me but u dont want to do that skill again like when my main got hacked i loved wc on him but now i hate it on my new account its only 62 =( but i got 70 fishin and only had like 54 befor on my main lol

Anways yeah i miss praying in the wilderness on my pure. I have 1 prayer and it's hard when i die to stick on protect so i just gotta hold on ;)

hehe yep unbeaten 1 (my staker) started with nothing and killed chickens and cows before merchanting up to roughly 200k then i got lucky and pked 300k (some noob carried around 230k cash) that got me set for p2p O:) worked out well got 100+mil now

I have started over twice. I quit completely at rs2 release, made a new account in December 2004 (SaidinWoT, only current active account). Then, more recently (About September 2005?) I "started over" by playing RSC on SaidinWoT also (albeit rarely). No one helped me on either time, so, yes, I know what it's like :shock:

I started over once after my lvl 99 account helring got hacked and locked. I now use my lvl 60 character van helring. i hate having to train slayer back to the 72 it was at.

Started over from a level 113, 1509 skill total.

 

 

 

Currently level 88, 1419 skill total. 207 QP's

 

So yes I have started over :).

The best way to start over is by smithing bronze, and then crossing to fishing when you have the cash.

 

Anyway, I will never start over, cause my current account sucks anyway!
