personally i think playing runescape and video for the whole day is bad, i try as hard as i can not to. but wow 200k people at once playing runescape, thats so much more people playing computer games inside rather than doing something physical outside! for some people they stay inside and play computer games all day because it is too hot all day. the earth has been getting hotter and the air dirtier because of how we treat our planet. without being outside more and more kids are getting fatter. we can blame junk food, fast food etc etc but a lot of people are not ngetting enough exercise. sorry i cant get my thoughts together but what i want to say is blame global warming for more kids playing runescape and getting fatter.

I only plat at the weekends, and then it is only for a maximum of 3 hours at a time. Just because 200k of people play Runescape, doesn't mean everyone else isn't outside having fun.

i play runescape because it is AMAZINGLY hot outside. when it isnt hot for example rainy clouds i go outside, but thats rare.

I don't really see global warming as a reason for either runescape hitting 200k or people getting fatter. Heat ussualy makes people lose weight.

 

 

 

Also remember that on the souther half of the world it currently is winter, and they still seem to play runescape,.. maybe runescape being fun could be a reason for many people to play it.

200k isnt really that much when you compare it to the population of the world, or even the united states.

runescape isnt the only thing people get into... tv game consoles, other computer games, tv... all because its too hot outside

It's 2006. Times have changed. A lot of people enjoy videogames more than outside activities. I know it's a bad thing, but it's true. I get out frequently, but not all the time. It's not just because it's hot. Videogames are one of my biggest hobbies and i'm not fat either.

im not saying everybody playing runescape does it because of global warming or mcdonalds is bad, but im saying global warming has brought more people to play games (especially during the summer) like runescape and is bad because kids get less exercise

Seriously, it's never to hot. I mean when i go outside it's always hot, but every other time it's cold. And dude, calm down, i think your paranoid.

I don't think my computer emits carbon dioxide, so I think I'm ok.

I am still waiting for proof there is global warming. 250 years of climatilogical data does not convince me, seeing how the earth has been here for a lot longer than that, and has had ice ages prior to the industrial revolution. Oh well call me a skeptic. On subject, I believe it is laziness rather than "global warming"

Maybe kids are getting fatter because they're lazy... whether or not it's hot outside probably has little to do with it. As for playing Runescape, I'm guessing that it's because it's a fun game, not global warming.
