I'm gonna be a dentist, regardless of what my parents think \m/

kidurdude, I wouldn't rely on that. I bet there's millions of people that are "good enough". Plus it's not enough to sustain any sort of needs.

I'm Jake Milroy

My mum was very pushy about what she wanted me to do. Good thing was that she never suceeded in that aspect. And it wasn't so much the "career" aspect that she wanted me to achieve, it was the "follow in the footsteps of your sister" thing.

Kinda sucks being the younger bother to a person who was naturally smart, and who chose study of social life to get their results.

my parents say i can become whatever I want, but they hope i become a lawyer.

but to the people that are like "I may become..." you have to realize its not what you want unfortunately, its where the jobs are. after the borders were opened we faced major competition from foreigners (thats why its much, much harder to get into a good college/college of your chocie nowadays). i may have to avoid a job i like because, simply, i wont find a job in that field.

Bubsa do you even have a job? I can hardly believe you could hold down a job, what with your trips to Africa, marathons and constant Skittle eatery.

You're right, I don't :P Could you imagine someone like me being stuck behind a desk between 9 to 5? I'd go cuckoo.

I do little odd jobs now and then to keep my overdraft happy, and a bit of E-commerce when I have the time. :)

Bubsa, I've got the perfect job for you. They opened a new skittle factory, only way to get there is running there from the deadly lions. I mean, since it's in Africa, and they need a proffesional taste-tester. Have your people call my people.

Anyway, I'd like to work as a Teacher. High School or Junior High. Perhaps History, or maybe French. My parents don't really care, so long as I don't come running back to them.

You couldn't begin to possibly imagine the amount of fun I'd have with that

My dad always jsut told me to get a job that didn't involve labor because of what he does. He's a General Contractor, and unlike 90% of General Contractor's, he actually does work. He has zero employee's. He build's houses single-handedly, rain, snow, sun, whatever, he's always working, and he doesn't get paid nearly enough. If people got paid based on what work they did, doctor's would be broke and my dad would be extremely rich. :P

So yea, my parents never had any aspiration's for me to become something. That's for pompous soccer mom's and rich dad's. My parent's don't have the time nor novelty to push their child into some extravagant career.

I wanted to do 3D animation/graphic design, but I'm not very good at art. I have the vision, but getting it from my head to paper is extremely hard for me. I never took art class seriously enough...I want to take some art classes and see if that helps, but if it doesn't, I'll probably be forced to do some type of job I won't like. That, and every moron under the face of the sun wants to get into the gaming industry because they think it's all about playing video games 24/7, so I probably won't waste my time. It was my aspiration to create upon gaming legacies by making them even better with my own vision's, but it'll never happen. I feel my mind is a wasted peice of crap because all I usually think about while playing a game is "I wish this feature was like this instead.." or "If I made this game, I would have added X feature...It would have made the game more complete." rather than actually playing a game for what it is. I feel that game companies today are rushing out the crappiest money-makers imaginable, and it's getting tiring. Just once I'd like to create a game I could play forever and not wish something else was added to it. Game sequel's with added content = lame money makers. Do it right the first time.

So yea...I guess it's Construction for me.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

- Me!

i'd pick manager, they really dont do allot, in general

and if if people get paid on what they did, i'd be swimming in money (Dishwasher for life!) 8 hours of dishwashing a day no breaks.. no food, some drinks tho (and im not even 18 yet)
