No one have ever tried this trick with me, but on other hand I usually just ignore random people who's trying to interact with me when I'm banking at edge or something similar.. Free stuff woooo. My friend hit over 80 people with this... I felt uncomfortable with it at first, but the more I thought about it... People who fall for this scam are either ignorant of the way the game works, or 9 parts greed, 1 part brain. Of the 86 people he hit in ONE MONTH, at least a score of them were people like you, who figured... "Oh... he'll leave me at 1 hitpoint. I'll eat and grab them!" I honestly think that this is really the fault of the ignorant/foolish people who get scammed. I'd have a hard time convincing myself to do it... as I tend to follow rules, but I can see how my friend justifies doing it, and I don't really blame him as IMO he's making the Runescape world a better place. According to a couple pmod friends there is nothing much Jagex can do about that, as it is your own fault.
