I've just been dueling on W18 on my pure account and I found this Ranger one level above mine who would stake me. Only small amounts.

 

 

 

We both specialise in Ranging so it was Ranging only.

 

 

 

 

 

We both has the same equipment (MSB, chaps and a Robe top). It was an even match.

 

 

 

The duel started and I get specialed immediately, we're launching arrows back and forth and then I get specialed again? :-k :shock:

 

 

 

Bare in mine this is a duel between to level 56+ Rangers both with 1 defence and 46 HP. This duel isn't going to last long enough to get 10% bar regenerated. I know somethings up so I try to find her. I find her 5 minutes later and we stake the same amount.

 

 

 

We're dueling again and the exact same thing happens. I get 2 specials shot at me in the space of 10 seconds. It isn't possible.

 

 

 

So what the hell is going on? I reported her for bug abuse, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Was I right to report her?

Sounds like bug abuse to me... I saw this guys pk video and he got killed by this dude who did 2 maul specials within like less than a second apart.

I think you CAN regenerate that little spec in 10 secs.

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Okay, you can't, just tried, something fishy then, perhaps?

My mate said that he could get 5 Dagger specials by doing something with his special bar? I'll go ask him...

I think they might have just gotten lucky and gotten it regenerated in that 10 seconds. Or its bug abuse.

Granite maul spec is only 50% drain... of course he can do 2 very quickly..

He was obviously refering to the previous conversation...man did anyone even read the thread? If you look it says "ppl would", meaning if you could...

maybe its how long after you logged in when the special bar respawns, and they timed it when to begin duels and theyll be able to spec 2 times in 1 duel if that made sense.

i think if you rappid click the speacial bar REALLY quickly it does that... my friend just got some speacil weapons, i'll ask him...

 

Also if you switch around items really quickly in your bank, it makes duplicetes of an item, then goes back to normal. (they arn't real, but its kind of weird...)

I've been able to do that before, but it was just lucky timing as people have been saying. I was ranging Dusties when I speced, and it looked like it only took half, but I did see it quickly regenerate one little bit on the bar.

The the bar recharges but if you unwield your weapon and attach another it still recharges.

There is really no explaining to do. The magic shortbow's special uses 6/10 of the special bar, leaving 4/10 left, meaning the bow would have to recharge two before it could shoot a special again.

 

 

 

It has to be bug abuse.

this could be like the potion bug, for example you drink a super str pot when you have 90 str and it raises it to 108 str, but then in like 5 seconds it goes down to 107, then in 1 minute it goes to 106, next minute it's 105.. i think this is because the server has a timer, not the client

 

 

 

how she rechaged 2 spec bars within 10 seconds is still weird tho, special attack pots ftw! :shock:

I saw this in the morning as well, some guy did like 5 D Long specs in Ardy, he was wearing a gnome amulet...does that have any effect?
