I saw this in the morning as well, some guy did like 5 D Long specs in Ardy, he was wearing a gnome amulet...does that have any effect?

 

 

 

No, that amulet affects your defnence, nothing else.

 

 

 

However, a lot of amulets looks exactly the same. It could be an amulet that looks like a gnome one but in fact isn't.

 

 

 

This picture is used as many quest related amulets.

Sounds like bug abuse to me... I saw this guys pk video and he got killed by this dude who did 2 maul specials within like less than a second apart.

 

thats what the maul special is- an instant hit

Granite maul spec is only 50% drain... of course he can do 2 very quickly..

I've hit 5 times in a row with my magic longbow and rune arrows with special. And then the special bar finished.

 

 

 

The the bar recharges but if you unwield your weapon and attach another it still recharges.

There is really no explaining to do. The magic shortbow's special uses 6/10 of the special bar, leaving 4/10 left, meaning the bow would have to recharge two before it could shoot a special again.

not to b rude but...WRONG!i always use a msb and its 55% because sometimes i can use my special with 5 bars sometimes they make me wit till 6.

My guess would be that he put on a crystal bow. Arrows fired from a crystal bow look like special attacks from a magic shortbow.

or maybe this dude mistook the two arrows that pop out of the mage bow when you use the spec as two specials? :roll: After all this guy is only 56 range he isn't exactly a verteran mage bow user.

thats his PURE acc not his main, for all we know his main could have 99 range, doubt it lol but still and to whoever said he couldve had a crystal bow did you read it even? he said he had 56 range.

you dont have special energy per weapon, you have energy per weapon type, so switching to a different, but identical weapon wouldnt do anything but waste a second or so

I don't get it. I used Excalibur 100% drain and tried to use my bone dagger and it was empty. And one of the magic bows has a 2 shot special green arrow.

You recharge a special bar every x seconds. Spec on something outside a duel and go in so that it will recharge within 5 seconds. People did that with the old specs to get 3 specs in a duel.

i can use d scimmy special when the bar is at 50% and it usess the whole bar.

 

 

 

i can use it at 60% amount and it uses the whole bar.

 

 

 

if i time it right, i can use at 60% and it enbds up with 5% left.

we have two people in this whole thread that got it right. the mage short spec takes 55% of your bar, leaving 45% afterwards. when the spec recharges, it recharges 10% every time. so you spec, bringing your bar to 45%, which then recharges to 55%, allowing a second spec

If it's really in 5% increments, is there a way to make sure you get two specs?

when using a maul u cant press the use special thing unles ur attacking somebody. happened to me yesterday i was about to use a spec i had 2hp but died at the moment i press the spec i had the special press on maul which u cant unless ur attackin someone. when i started a duel i used a maul spec and my bar didnt go down

You reported someone for bug abuse, yet you've no idea what happened. To me, that seems a pretty low thing to do. Just because you don't understand what happened doesn't mean they cheated.

That's the special attack of the maul - an instant hit, and if I'm not mistaken it can be used twice. :roll:

It just regenerated fast. IMO.

Its possible, you should not have reoprted the person.

Not sure if this has been said alredy but maybe they guy used a magic long bow then a magic short bow. Its what i used to do when i had a pure ranger account, 3 special arrows

its 55% not 60%, it even says it on the site somewhere. i've done 2 msb specs in like 10 secs before, all you need is extreme luck for the spec to charge that fast.

yeah it takes at least 30seconds or more for the range spec to recharge it might be a bug
