Just wanted to give everyone a tip ...

 

 

 

If you set your computer's resolution to 800x600 and hit f11 in your browser window, you get as close to full screen RS as you're ever likely to.

Uh, why would you want full screen RS? I personally prefer the window format so I can multitask.

When pking or fighting boss monsters, it is actually a disadvantage, since your mouse has to travel across a longer distance to reach its target.

Then I can't see TIF while playing RS. But, a nice find none the less.

800x600 is a horrible resolution. I can't imagine that anyone would want that, unless they have a 12" screen or something.

I hope jagex adds an option that will change the resolution of runescape, playing it on a 1920x1440 even makes jad look smaller then a chicken :uhh:

I beg to differ, I use a 800x600 resolution and my runescape window fits the entire screen (when f11 is used) and I have a 22" moniter.

Woow, that's really amazing. My 23" monitor was 1024x768 when I got it from my friend. I found that absolutely horrible.

 

Low resolutions make everything (including RS) ugly.

Well even I use 1024x768 most of the time. Only use 800x600 when I want to play RS full screen. :wink:

ok where do you go to make it 800x600? not actually taht good at computers

right click desktop>properties>settings-resolution settings drag the slid bar.

 

 

 

 

 

LCD moniters were made for really high resolution, not 800*600, so you will be wasting half your pixels.

 

 

 

However, i agree that runescape should be made full screen, 1024x768 at least, that way it dosent look like a small window in a huge black sea.

 

 

 

also 800*600 looks crap and your desktop becomes really small, and the taskbar at the bottom becomees HUGE, but hey, if you can live with it, thats fine

All flat screens and LCD's really suck. Go play on a Flat Panal LCD, then play a regular old monitor on 800x600 on RuneScape its crystal clear. I don't see why anyone would use anything else. I've always played 800x600.

Umm..because it's to their personal liking or they've grown to prefer what they're using? If you don't see that, you're pretty blind.

The game also becomes horribly pixelated and it offends my 19" monitor.

I heard about thta on a thread a long time ago. Old news. The search button is your friend, even if it shows junk

Can even make rs on your desktop too. Can't see why.

 

But if I ever use 800x600, all text is blurry, looks weird, and pixellated. Normally using 1280x768. Got laptop with widescreen. 8-)
