Got pretty much my butt kicked by the sun once... well I learned from it. I never got sunburned again. What a terrible experience.

Wait. Does that mean you obtained a sun burn on your behind? :shock: Well, if that's true, than that means... :lol:

my dad has skin cancer, and overall has very bad skin. unlucky for me, i have bad skin as well. so ive been using sunscreen heavily before ever going out in the sun.

 

 

 

i do still get tanned though. and those tanlines look very odd, in fact they are often the first point of discussion when i meet old friends that i havent talked to in a while.

 

 

 

i work outside, in a cemetary. the two main things i do are cut the grass, and then trim around the stones. the mower and trimmer i use both require me to use both hands, holding something. the way in which i hold them makes it so that up to the first two joints of my fingers are all underneath, where no sun hits. so my arms and hands are all very tanned, and then my fingertips are still white :lol: . i have a good "farmers tan", all my tshirts are more or less the same length, and there is an abrupt spot where it changes from tan to not tan on my bicep. i also have a "redneck". i also wear a watch all the time, so when i take it off underneath it is not tanned, in a watch shape. lastly, i have something else called "coon eyes". this is caused by wearing sunglasses all the time. my face is tanned, but around my eyes and a line back to my ears is all not tanned :P .

 

 

 

it was even better in the spring when i was switching from long sleeve shirts to short sleeve shirts. went back and forth a few weeks. my hand would be darker than my arm, and there would also be another tan line at my elbow, from rolling up the sleeves on my long sleeved shirt.

I have a wetsuit tan line :lol: Only my hands and feet see the sun in a wetsuit, SO my tan starts at my wrists and ankles :lol:

Hm..Not too long ago I was .. acting in some events that left me "asleep" on a beach for a few hours in the middle of the day.. I awoke a few hours laters, dazed and confused, to find my buddies still awake.. we drove back, the next day I was in hell. It had to of broke a layer or three of some skin..mild bleeding...blisters... It sucked.

No picture, but a while back I managed to completely burn my back. Apparently it is a bad idea to fall asleep in the sun.

 

 

 

However, I managed to have a non-burnt handprint on my right shoulder blade - from when my friend slapped my back, after she applied sun block.

Going to the beach again today. From 11 to 6. :) Didn't get a sunburn, not expecting to get one either. :)

last week i got burnt at my kids sports day, so i was still peeling from that- and yesterday i went to a theme park and got burnt on top of that.

 

 

 

i look like a peeling lobster atm.

 

my nose and forehead look like i've rubbed red food dye all over it.

 

 

 

i should really put cream on as i burn so easily, but i always forget :wall:

 

 

 

i am even peeling on my hands, which is weird as they are always exposed to the sun.

 

when i was a kid i fell asleep in some sand dunes in wales, surnt my back so badly i am insistant about covering up my back/shoulders. i might sweat like a pig, but no burning there ever again hehe :thumbsup:
