I put mine on the day it came out, and had it on since now. But recently, i've just become so annoyed at typing the same code 4~, 5 times a day just to access my bank :? Really, Im now thinking that the risk is worth it.

 

 

 

It would be rather ironic if I got hacked tomorrow.. :P

**Gets hacked**

Had one for about 2 days, removed it since. I hated it.

Never got one until 3 weeks ago, it lasted 2 days. Hate it.

I know where you're coming from. Mine gets reall annoying because i stay on for like 30 mins at a time before I log off again and then I have to enter it again and again lol. But I do think it's worth it to me anyways because I tuck my partyhat in everynight and want it to be safe and worry free :

It's a mixed feeling. I hate having to type it again in after lagging out for a sec, and I hate when poisin is killing me and my Bank Pin is the one thing stopping you from grabbing that Antipoisin in the bank, but it is still saving me from the offchance that I get "hacked" :mrgreen: .

no, its pretty much natural by now. Ferst few weeks yes, but in 3 months its nothing.

It doesn't really bother me to tyep it in every time I log in. The little extra security is a good thing in the off chance i'm "hacked". I generaly think about it like this... "I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

It doesn't annoy me, small cost for much higher security. What annoys me are people who don't set PINs but then complain and moan when they got hacked as if they coudln't do anything to prevent a part of it.

It annoys the hell out of me, but I'm fast with it. Just an extra 5-10 seconds. They need to let you have the option of using the buttons or typing it in though. I'm not using until my Abyss RCing is done. Banknig is getting rather annoying with ym constant logging.

If you had the option to type it in, then its purpose would be lost. :| The bank pin works in such a way that just about most keyloggers can't detect it since there are no actual keystrokes used.

What he said, but if the keylogger can detect mouse clicks and can see what you see on the screens, you're doomed. Not sure if thats called a keylogger. Anyways, I took my pin off when I was getting 99 cooking because I kept having to go eat and get a drink and watch tv and go to the bathroom and the pin just frustrated me.

misterxman. thats what i hate as well.... being a "high level" i always get the really low lvl ppl begging me for free stuff cause they got hacked. serves em right. If your too lazy to put your bank pin in. then you dont deserve pitty for losing it :P

I love bank PINs... only thing that annoys me about them is that they came out AFTER I lost my bank (at the time worth around 250m) to a keylogger (form of virus that records what you type to steal passwords).

 

 

 

People can get a virus whether or not they go downloading files, so in my eyes, the protection is more than worth any inconvenience. I even try to make sure I don't log out in anything too expensive if I don't have to.

The bank pin doens't annoy me too much. Except for when I'm in a rush and I forgot I haven't entered it yet. I rather have the secruity. Besides I bank all my stuff before I log out. If someone hacks me they're gonna have to wait 7 days :wink:

well, ive had a 'pending' pin for about a month.. everytime it gets close to being set, i get worried i will forget the code and i cancel it.. then i regret doing that and set a new one... #-o :wall: .. when will i be smart enough just to click yes! rofl

Yes I do get annoyed by mine, but I've had it set scince the day it came out, and I really don't thik the risk is worth it. Trying to earn back 20m from nothing would not be good.

When my bank account was hacked I had a PIN number; however when I recovered my account the PIN had been removed anyway.

 

 

 

I still have a Bank PIN, it is now obviously a different number.

So where does that leave my advice?

 

Make a pin.. put it in your wallet? put it in your shoe? put it in your dresser.. but

I got my pin the day it came out and I was going to take it off until one day I read :"5 days left till your pin can be removed." I found out I had a keylogger. I got rid of it and changed my pass and im thankfull for my pin howerever how annoying, if it hadnt been for that, the guy using the keylogger could have got to my bank, not just my account.

I absolutely hate mine, but it reminds me of my irl credit card pin so lol meh who cares \
