there is another way, for us who dont have b2p. it requires enahkra's lament or extra money for carpet rides to nardah. also charged glories/rings of duel. use a camulet to go to temple, run out temple and east. desert will hit you once. run in smokey well, kill, tele out with jewelry, camulet back in.

you should add recommended stats because many people are not familiar with dust devils and the fact that they can hit you more than u can heal if you are under level like 80 cb

Nice guide.

I camped there last year for lvl 99 attack. I killed 15k dust devils in total, but didn't get a dragon chain. Earned 2 dragon spears and a left half (back when it was worth something lol).

The main differences I had from your guide was that I took four/five supersets and hopped to the bank for refills. I also used the Camulet for quicker turn around times.

I wore barrow armour.

And I ALWAYS played in low detail. I simply couldn't see Strange Plants through the smoke and was constantly being posioned by them lol

10/10 for the guide.

I've actually found that killing Dust Devils in the Chaos Tunnels is faster. It's easy to get too, close to a bank, doesn't require partial completion of 'Desert Treasure', and the room is small so the Dust Devils are close together.

Otherwise love the guide. I plan on camping at Dust Devils for the crimson charms, and a dragon chainbody wouldn't hurt. :D

Could you make a proper setup for high-levels(people who wear bandos etc.) please, so i could see what i should bring incase i wanted to go back there :P

and another thing, remember a spec weapon no matter what, i noticed that you can hold many peaches, thats good but still.... An Excalibur(requires merlins quest) gíves a boost of +8 Defense temporarily :) whille a Dragon Battle axe gives a bonus of 15%-20% str temp. aswell(just like a sup str)

80+ def=use b axe, and 80def below should use excalibur :)

just my two cents

I have a suggestion for the chisel idea.. Instead of dropping gems after you cut them, simply chisel them again, and make them into bolt tips.. They stack, and can add up quickly in price.. Just a small additional bonus for killing them. ;)

Nice guide - 8/10

Things to think about including:

Charms - in the pictures you show you didn't keep them - if you were to keep the charms how many would you get either an hour or per 1k kills (something along those lines)

Where to kill - you said to kill them in the smokey well dungeon but is there a certain place within the dungeon that you'd recommend?

Mud Staff - I might have missed it but I didn't see you mention anything about the mud staff to help you with bones to peaches - It can save you 1-2 inventory spots and, in my opinion, is very useful!

Again, nice job with this guide!

They may be close together, but they can become crowded at peak times in the day where as the dust devils in the smoke dungeon are hardly ever crowded (I've only ever seen one other person down killing them with me!)
