I'm as competitive as the next guy and I also like raising my skills, but I have to earn it. However, as Kashi said, if being number one meant having all 99 skills, I'd pay all I own and then some. Because I know I could make it all back in a moment. However, if I wasn't allowed to keep anything I had earned when that month was over, then I wouldn't want it... at all. It would be a huge pain to have to deal with all of the random idiots, you could never have private chat on, and anytime that you are spotted the world clogs because they message all of their friends.
