Quest

 

 

 

Talk to Brimstal in is cave in the south west corner of gnome stronghold; ask about the history of the Gnome Stronghold. He tells you to investigate in the cave next-door, so go next door and inspect the singing bowl, and the oaknock machine.

 

 

 

Once done return to Brimstal and he will tell you to seek out hazelmere he is located east of yanillie on the little island and ask about the machine

 

 

 

Talk to him and he will cast a spell on you so you can have him mind convertion, he will then talk about the old days and you will go into a few short scenes after that he will tell you about the cover up of a spirit tree dieing and you will then receive a crystal disk

 

 

 

Head back to Bimstals and tell him about what you have just learnt, while you tell him what happens another gnome will sneak in and destroy the machine, try repair the machine it will tell you that you need maple log oak log and magic Glue

 

 

 

To make the glue put mud rune into a pester making dust, next go outside to a tree (xmasy one) and use a knife on it, mix tree sap with dust, head back inside to machine and repair it (make sure you have hammer and saw)

 

 

 

Once repaired speak with Brimstal again, he will give you his disk, head back to machine and do the puzzle, the sides of the disk have add up to the number on the print out making the crystal into the number needed, talk to brimstal and he will give you more crystal to open the next panel, set up he number given and insert them into the machine

 

 

 

this disks work like maths

 

 

 

each colour is assisgned a number, each shape is your times table green square is 4 is 16 as square is for and green is 4, another example is a red circle red1 circle 1 1*1=1 or yellow pentagon yelow3 pentagon 5 3*5=15

 

 

 

Red - 1

 

Orange - 2

 

Yellow - 3

 

Green - 4

 

Blue - 5

 

Indigo - 6

 

Violet - 7 (looks like indigo so beware)

 

 

 

Circle - 1

 

Triangle - 3

 

Square - 4

 

Pentagon - 5

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once done you will see a scene with the cuddly creature turn into evil ones, you need to go and kill them all

 

1. On top of Grand Tree where the Gnome glider is.

 

2. Near Brimstail in the cave.

 

3. Near the entrance of the Gnome Stronghold.

 

4. Near King Healthorg.

 

5. Near the tortoises which are north of the swamp.

 

6. Near the Spirit Tree

 

 

 

Once done go and speak to the king and your done

250 Construction Exp

 

2500 Woodcutting Exp

 

6000 Runecrafting Exp

 

Small Crystal seed, which, when used with the Singing Bowl, is turned into a Crystal saw.

it's a simple quest, good exp, but it has a majorly annoying mind game

 

 

 

the maths used is algebra btw

 

 

 

and i think you should mention the crystal seed you get at the end, as well as singing it to a saw

If you dont talk to Gnome mage b4 killing creatures you will be stuck with a bug, killed all 6 but its like i only killed 5 (rechived killed 1 msg twice)

I'm having a massive problem with this crystal part. my numbers all match, and I have the green lights on (only on no arrows = it matches) on all three of the numbers I need to do the transaction, but... it keeps telling me machine is not fully operational. Granted for thrity I just used an indigo pentagon for the thrity and didn't use all the slots. Any clue guys?

the saw gives a +3 bonus to your constrution lvl whilst using it i believe. It can also be used with tea giving a total maximum bonus of +6

Not only then: I talked with the mage, and then I talked with the king, searched and destroyed all off them except 1: the creature at the mage, it is mysterly disappeared

about the discs, its like algebra, ur numbers add up to another number and when u click exchange, it changes the discs into other discs that add up to the same number. You can click the exchange over and over until you get the disired disc.
