Guest GhostRanger
I was suppose to go see it tonight at 10 PM but I had to leave town and didn't get back until 1 in the morning so I couldn't. I've been looking forward to it for a long time, just like most of you all have been. Anyone seen it yet? What did you think? I asked my friend about it who saw it last night and he said: Me: is it legitimately a good movie? Him: oh god no, it's so awful Him: still not stopping me from telling everyone to see it

How2PK
yea, I'm quite curious to seeing it. Though there's been too much hype IMO. But I still want to see it. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
Arcticrunite
It's one of those movies that's so awful that it's watchable. I personally haven't seen it, but a friend of mine did last night. It's awful but man it's hilarious just to see Samuel L Jackson say those lines.
Adamskii
I laugh at the title every time I hear it. You could just imagine the board room meeting. MD: We need to come up with a catchy name for our new film, any ideas? Director1: Well we have Samuel L Jackson, a plane and snakes. Director2: Ooh how about Samuel L Jackson with snakes on a plane. MD: Hmmm it's good but not quite catchy enough. Director3: *Says quietly: How about Snakes on a Plane. MD: It just came to me we shall call it "Snakes on a Plane", now who wants takeout. Director3: *Hmph.

timmay929
This movies looks like a knockoff of Air Force 1 (I think thats what its called) with Harrison Ford. I still havent read any reviews about it, although I really want to see what people think of it, just to see if its as bad as it looks. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
vladmoney
yea why is there so much hype, honestly i thought it was joke when i first saw a preview on the internet. I don't see how the plot could be interesting or the action intense (unless the snakes grow opposable thumbs and learn to use an ak47). Make7upu101
Samuel L Jackson's getting old. In my opinion he's really doing down the drain. What's the point of seeing the film? The whole joke has been revealed- Samuel L Jackson swearing and calling the movie "Snakes On A Plane," when guess what- snakes are on the plane. The only reason they named it Snakes On A Plane anyway was to milk more money out of the public.
Bubsa
Because there's snakes...on a plane! Listen to Sam the Man tell you about it: "I'm here tonight to present the award everyone's been waiting for: best movie. Now, this award holds a special place in my heart because next year I'll be winning it for Snakes on a Plane. Now I know, I know that sounds cocky, but I don't give a damn. I am guaranteeing that Snakes on a Plane will win best movie next year. Does not matter what else is coming out. The New James Bond... no snakes in that! Ocean's 13... where my snakes at? Shrek the Third... green, but not a snake. No movie shall triumph over Snakes on a Plane. I mean come on! It's even got Kenan Thompson of Kenan and Kel fame in it! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

You haven't read reviews on it because they didn't release it to anyone to review. I'm pretty sure I read in USA Today yesterday that Jackson hasn't even seen it yet. I'm going this afternoon so you all can expect a full review of it. :P

1_man_army
I the other day I read that the title actually began as a joke between some studio executives about who could think of the worst movie title which spawned; "Snakes On A Plane." I dont know what to make of this so far, its either going to be an utter train-wreck or absolute genius; snake in a film are good( Indiana Jones etc.) & planes are good (The Aviator) so combining them may be brilliant, but Im holding my breath. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
Guest GhostRanger
This movie is so bad, it's good. Which is what I and most of you all probably expect. These people were obviously getting good laughs when they made this film and it's hysterical because of it. 5 stars for entertainment. 0 stars for cinematics. :P
Adam007
I just saw it - I liked it. It was pretty weird for me combining the whole scary jump in your seat aspect (which was less common than I thought it would be) with comedy. There were a lot of funny moments, although I can't really see this becoming a cult classic.

timmay929
is everything involving a plane a knockoff of air force 1? No, just because it involves a plane means it's a knockoff of air force 1, or else I would be here calling air force 1 a knockoff of the movie Airplane, because it involved a plane. It's too similar. Instead of russians hijacking a plane in af1, it's snakes hijacking it. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

The snakes aren't hijacking the plane, they're planted there in an attempt to assassinate one of the passengers who witnessed a murder. Snakes. Russians. Same thing, I guess.
