Is fire making the most useless skill for f2p ?

Featured Replies

I personally think fire making is the most useless skill in f2p

What is your view ?

Isn't there already a topic about this?

Without firemaking woodcutting would also be quite useless

The secret of creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.

You can sell most logs to P2Pers for Construction/Fletching.

And yes, Firemaking is the most useless F2P skill... and P2P... but hey, it's easy to train, so.

Well you need 49 firemaking for tears of guthix...

Don't know ANY quests or features in F2P that require firemaking (or woodcutting, for that matter). Fish can be cooked over any kind of logs, that's about it.

Woodcutting can be profitable, and firemaking is handy for disposing of unwanted logs, as an alternative to dropping.

Cut & burn is a fast way to train two skills to contribute to total level, at least in the middle ranges.

well i agree, but hey, its easy levels

I suppose Firemaking's good for getting rid of low lvl Logs that you can't sell, and still be doing something constructive instead of just dropping them. EDIT: Oops I just realised someone already said that, Sorry! :wall:

No, firemaking is not the most useless skill in f2p. Its is the most useless skill in f2p and p2p. :P Though, I am f2p so I don't really know..

You're not getting my point. If you had an IQ above room temperature you would.

bikini u made me some rune armor before i didnt know you used tip it..but no its not cause it can speed up cooking, for example someone buys 10k raw lobs, they get a log tinderbox and the lobs and go right outside a bank its the fastest way

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

Thx to fm I got 99 cooking fast. Not really a useless skill.

I'd say both firemaking and woodcutting are equally useless. But that's just my opinion.

Woodcutting is only useless for nonmembers it is useful for members as you neeed the logs for fletching.

what?? woodcutting is the best money making skill for normal people (as apposed to those with 99 everything)

yews and willows can be chopped in bulk easily and are always ion demand, and magic trees are very good money too

Just use a range next to a bank

[sig too big, don't do it again]

Untrue, you could sell your logs, you cannot sell your fires

well i think it is pretty useless but u can raise it easily... it also helps the people at karamja! they always keep yelling " fire!!!!!!!!! " ha! oh... w8 thats wat i do... ::'

Without firemaking, all the raw chicken and cow meat would stink up the entire world, and the ranges (aka ovens) would start to overheat and break down. Without ranges, there's nothing to cook the food with.

Therefore, firemaking is a very important skill. You keep what I said in mind.

says who? I sold a tinderbox and 1 willow log for 5k on karajima after people were yelling "fire plz" for 20 minutes. Funny thing is the fire burned out after 1 minute and like half the people were trading me for a new fire. Shouldve taken a screenshot.

i see firemaking in f2p as a source of more total lvls. thats pretty much it lol

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

In my opinion it's pretty much one of the most useless skills over all, but it's such an easy skill to train. \'
