Mr_Putter
Oasis is by far the best band of the nineties, followed by Prozzak, then probably Fastball (and their one album that I know of, heh heh). Chumbawumba was fun too :).

pfilc23
IMO, 90's music sucked for the most part. Many of the bands you all have listed wrote most of their best stuff in the 80's. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, The Melvins, REM, Janes Addiction to name a few. Oh, and Mars Volta didn't form until '01 (but I will give you ATDI...probably one of the few good from 90's)

Lateralus
The Charlatans (UK), Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Pearl Jam, Alanis Morisette, Hootie and the Blowfish, Blur, Ian Brown, James, Muse, Primal Scream, R.E.M., Radiohead, Pulp, The Verve, The Stone Roses Alot of my favourite bands are British bands from the 90's. The Stone Roses are possibly the greatest band ever. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

Scruffy5389
I dunno if you can say RHCP was only an eighties nineties or aughts band. They have good material in each decade. Awesome band. My favorite 90s band is definitely Gin Blossoms. They were kind of a flash-in-the-pan group, but in '93 their song "Hey Jealousy" was just about the most overplayed song on the radio, and I never got tired of it.
