August 24, 200619 yr Author its a shame nobody realises the potential this would have for woodcutting. its a crystal axe! it will be better then a dragon axe. lvl to wear rune axe - 41 lvl to wear dragon axe - 61 lvl to wear crystal axe - 71? 81? i will be waiting for this axe to come out for along time, cutting mage logs will be quicker. D pick might come out before crystal axe? merchants bring prices down... the ppl who set the high prices are ppl who are first to get the ax...then they just see who will pay the most for it. merchants, intend, bring prices down by trading the item more often...this combined with more items being introduce is how prices drop. Think, if there were no merchants...skillers would keep their axes, and their would be less trade of the axes, inturn for higher prices of the axe. I don't think you understand how trade works.
August 24, 200619 yr to clarify, crystal saw in quest was KING's own, not oaknocks, oaknock's axe is a different thing, cannot be a mistake by jagex

Not going to happen, but interesting thought IMO it's probably gonna happen. They try to make the game easier with each update (most of them at least :P ) so we can keep up with high levels. Not in two months, but it will probably happen. Imo Road To Trimmed Completionist

Not going to happen, but interesting thought rofl! thats pretty funny, i would like to see a nuclear powered harpoon on topic - it always possible that they will realelse it but i dont think it will be for a few months since hints sometimes are there for like a few months (the penguins in lumby for instance) but its always possible it will come out in sept, were just ganna have to w8 and see

August 25, 200619 yr I honestly don't think they will ever release it if it's not a typo. Reason being is pretty simple, the saw is a tool, you can't wield it as a weapon. The axe is a tool as well, however, it can be wielded, making it quite different from a simple saw. Plus I mean what kind of stats would it have? Dragon axe alone isn't all that bad. A crystal one would probably be pretty similar to a Dragon Longsword, but being crystal, would almost certainly require 70 attack. So I ask you, why would Jagex release an item which requires recharging and 70 attack to use, when we can simply use a Dragon Longsword with similar stats at 60 attack that doesn't require recharging?

August 25, 200619 yr there's no doubt it will happen. jagex, especially in the past year, has been leaving many clues about future updates. i think that the dragon pick will come out first, but it will still come out. also, like all the other crystal equipment, it will probably not be overpowered by reducing its combat speed.
