only thing i like abit is teh castle would be a pretty good background piece as in one of many ... and a sig with something going on !

what worse the sig or the tut? :$ he uses the line tool for a start and he sounds like an 8 year old.. hardly pixel experience

Well..the colors are kinda disturbing, but the castle looks okay. I think it's the empyness that bugs me. Keep it up though!

Never use the line tool except for linework, after that you tend to make the line smoother anyway because you use the line tool for pillars, which you rough up afterwards.

 

 

 

The moon, well let's just say he can do whatever he likes with that moon in his happy place...It's just :shame:

 

 

 

You shade brightest at the light source, darkest away from the light source, not like the signature. *Looks at own avatar*

 

 

 

Copying and pasting a complete No No! Always draw straight onto the signature. That's why lots of people do something called linework.

Carrying on - I don't really like that sig, the castle is quite nice. The text is horrible and the shading is nasty. I made that grass shading mistake on my first pixel, you should try and actually show strands of grass :shame:

well it should have... he gave you some tips on the lighting since yours is horrible but you just ignore it, if you want to get better take some suggestions!!! untill you start doing that your sigs will all be crap

Thats good, I Like the castle but the sky and grass would benefit greatly from blending (dithering or shading).

its realy plain and i realy dont like it. u need to spend more time on the grass and air. u can make air realy simple ust pick out a light blue and the make stripes in the air from aboput 4 pixels high and the a new stripe underneath it like 5 points lighter and go on like that way to get a smooth air.

@Noobish, try looking at some tutorials in our Rules, Faq and Resources sticky. What you made does not look terrible but it can be improved a lot. For example you need to look at all that wide open space and fill it. Look at say misterxmans sigs all the detail in them, the action, the scenery. You will get better but watching a half hour tut will not do it. It will take practice and time and effort. Pixel sigs are a lot of hard work, time and dedication. Keep it up.
