Well as we all know pixeling is a very popular style of sigs , but currently the craze has been everywhere. Most of the posts u see are like makin free sigs , rate my first pixel sig, rate my nooby sig , rate my crzazy sig (which turns out to be ripped :? :roll: ). Anyways so the question is do u guys think that pixeling has gone completely mad?

yeah well the pixeling is getting quite big out here, i tried it too but im not doing it much now cuz there is way to many, and i just want to try different styles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And yes there are alot of these noob pixelers, they heard they only need paint( and everyone has paint) so they all juxst open paint and make a quick drawing. And thats what happening, people wont want to learn how to make abstract in photoshop or buy photoshop, because i think they are just lazy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

although there are some pixel artist who i respect, they really put efford in it and know what they are doin.

well people should just respect it that this is the time of the pixel but moste don't and blaim there loss of buisness on the pixel rather then there own skill it is true that pixeling is populair and abstract is suffering from that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but its the fact that people complain about pixel "getting out of hand" that it gets more in the news besides people say theres only pixel contests just look man just look 4 contests and 1 or 2 of them are pixel and the others are grune,abstract and so on theres not THAT big a difference in popularity only pixel sig shops get visited more often i think people over reacting when they say pixel is getting out of hand

hahaha, no that would be rasism, they could do that they stopped alot of pixelers already with the gory thing, but than again there are some small children on these boards.

What can i say though, theres been a ton of trends. Few months ago it was the smily trend (although not nearly as bad, hehheh lead by me and azvy) And a while ago it was landscapes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

there was a huge abstract trend, and a modeling one if i remember as well. its just like in rl, styles go in and out :P you just have to get used to it and adjust.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although, it might just be me but i smell a modeling age creeping up on us (imo, we've had quite a bit of new modelers that are realy good :P Not long b4 they inspire people lol)

And for myself I think pixel art looks really bad and not professionnal. I don't like the style, it doesn't catch my eye at all. The somehow "kid" style pixel art gives to the images really bothers me.

3d modelling. Like what entangle does.

I don't see pixel sigs dying out anytime soon. It would take all the pixelers to leave, but still people would try and some would evolve to be the new good pixelers as there is always that one person that is ahead of the others to the point of being good. Again, my shop is locked, but I'm on the same pixeling spree. :P
