Incase anybody is wondering, I messaged Jagex before doing this for 7k bows, and they said it was legal. Then I alched the bows and never got banned. Much better than clicking, IMO.

You can turn mousekeys on by hitting shift+alt+num luck also

It was in the runescape official forums and was not locked, so it is not against the rules. Whenever I have to alch large amounts of bows and whatnot, I always use, so I'm glad you're spreading this. :wink:

 

If you get bored, invite your friend over and get them to press the 5 key for you!

Personally I would rather press the 5 key, my wrist gets sore if I arch my hand for too long. I've used the mouse keys whenever I've alched (very rarely mind you), helps alching go a little faster because you can time the *brings* of the high alch spell... But me being an oldie, I like the normal alching way too :thumbsup:

This technique seems to be ok, just so long that you are pushing the keys,and you don't get a friend, or make a program to do it for you. I am on a laptop and I don't have a mouse, does that mean I am cheating? No I thought not. If you don't like this technique, you could pull the ball out of your mouse (If you have that kind of mouse), and move the cursor onto the item. Then just click away with the mouse that won't move.

I asked one of my friends whom happens to be a p mod and they said it is fine as you are still playing the game by clicking.

now they should make something like this for confuse/weaken/curse/stun/vulnerability and enfeeble and then we're all set. i know it ain't much but 3.2k curses makes your wrist feel like it's on fire. or maybe thats due to the lack of mousepad i have. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

I for one usually alch while watching tv, just listening to the alch sounds and clicking when needed. usually do this on monday or wensday when the good shows are on.

I have one question. If i press the mouse before i'm finished high alching it doesn't go back to the spells page. So if i pushed the "5" key before i finished my alch.. would it go back to the spells page or not?
