my friend got banned for doing this..

DONT DO THIS IF U DONT WANNA GET BAN

Noob. you dont get banned for this. its your own accesibilty. If you went through the stronghold of security it would say you can change key options but not add extra add-ons. This is not considered an add on.

Thank you for this guide. I am able to high alch much faster.

O yeah, if you unplug your mouse, you have no chance of accidentally moving the arrow. Kinda obvious, but you didn't include it.

I've used this method a couple times, sure beats using the mouse. I think you should add a small note at the bottom though "Make sure you have no items that you do not want alced in your inventory before you start, just incase you miss-click the keyboard or something."

I have a problem. I used to do this and it used to work fine.

For some reason when I use this and press 5, it right clicks. Like this:

I thought macroing is when you use an outside program to introduce advantages not allowed in the game...I don't see how this is using an outside program, and you're not high alching more or even faster. It's just less strenuous this way. If this were considered macroing then Jagex should ban certain body positions while playing Runescape too.

Body positions like the "Lotus form" for yoga?

(I don't do yoga, so I'm just making this up hehe)

Best guess for this is that the one key button for rs is on. Try clicking 5 elsewhere like on this page and it should be left click not right. If it is right then I dont know what it is.

I'm pretty sure it's not considered macroing. Another shortcut is to press:

Alt+Shift+Num Lock. Then, the Mousekeys will pop up, and make sure the Num Lock led is lit, and then MouseKeys will be on

Eh, are you SURE it's not allowed? You still have to press the button yourself. There's nothing much different from clicking and pressing the 5 key, is there? Plus, its not an additional program..it comes with your computer.

Still, it's very easy to get banned for doing it, as you won't be moving your mouse AT ALL. And I've been told by some people it's against the rules <.<

same, i dont move mouse when using laptop buttons...tbh, i used to macro, but got banned. then i found out it was pointless and did this.

P.S. great guide!

It is not illeagal. You may want to give credit to whoever found this and posted it on the runescape official forums. And if you add the teleing 1 or the sellign to stores one(I found that out so give me credit....) make sure to give other peopel credit if your using someone elses idea unless it isn't on purpose.

I definitely recommend this for any alcher. Sadly I learned this after getting my laptop (not that it was bought for alching lol) which has one of those mouse thingy's that isn't a mouse (yes, my intelligence surprises even myself somethimes :-w ).
